Today is my first day. I found this site by accident when I was Googling how many calories/fat was in my morning snack. This seems like a great site, especially because it is free!
Truthfully, I guess I have been steadily putting on weight since my senior year in high school and all through college. Everyone kept saying that once college was over, and you start drinking less and eating healthier, that extra weight would just fall off. False. That did NOT happen. Instead, I sit in front of my computer all day and one of two things occur: 1. work is SO busy and I am soo stressed out that I either don't have time to eat throughout the day or I nervous snack eat; 2. work is SO slow, I actually do nothing all day and I swear my body just SLLLLLOWS down.
The thing is, I use to be so active. Now, this lifestyle makes it so difficult. I don't find it difficult to make it to the gym, the stress release I get from exercising is amazing. But I am starting to realize: that is just NOT enough. I use to walk to classes, gym class, ballet class, field hockey practice etc. Now my life is totally just work and the gym. I miss my active lifestyle, but I also find it hard to stick to the schedule of JUST work and the gym, because let's face it, I'm 22 and I like having friends and going out to movies or whatever during the week AND I HATE WORKING OUT IN THE MORNING! Bane of my existance when I have to work out in the morning:
1. I can't stop sweating all day
2. I hate lugging my SWEATY gym stuff around all day
3. When I don't exercise at night, I'm in a bad mood the next day at work
4. Waking up is the most painful thing ever
Does this ever change? Does one ever enjoy working out in the morning?
How can I make my lifestyle more active? Because for me, the more I exercise, the less inclined I am to eat shit foods, because my body feels so great, why would I want to put terrible food in it?
Ok back to actually working....which is what I am getting paid to do after all.
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
