jumping back on the wagon

well,

I feel like im getting lazy where dieting is concerned. I have been indulging again, this will have to stop today b4 i waste more time...i mean about a week ago i managed to reach 103.4ish and now im 2 kg above this figure...but in saying so i was like 104.2 yesterday after work, it appears that my lightest time would be after work for me, and my heaviest would be the mornings, so this new input which im just about to record might be changed tonight.

So i think from now on i will post my weight lost every month but b4 dinner, this way i will have a general idea...

sw- 118/120kg

gw- 85/90kg

cw- 105.3kg ( this is a morning recording, at my heaviest apparently)

mind over matter

Well here i find myself again,

On the 28th of September 09 i weighed in about 120/118kg... i really got sick of not being able to fit in my t shirts without it really being noticeable...I have a job that can be really physical if you want it to be and therefore i could use it as a type of gym and thus can lose weight, but instead my calories were going in rather than out, so i felt like i had to do something about this, my brain needed retraining again

went to the doctors and he prescribed me a mind altering drug that was safe to take :Reductil" i have taken reductil since 28thsep 09 and it really does work with some will power and working out, which for me has been work

Sw 120/118kg

gw 85/90kg

CW 105.4kg

if you want a different result, take a different approach

well!

here i am again,

This time im having to completely stop with the eating sugary foods, and only leaving them for special occasions. I simply cannot think that a chocolate bar here there will help me, cause i have no will power "yet" just like with cigarettes, u cant have one here and there, well i cant...so this is my new approach, " no sweets"

to help me kick start this new journey i have today started with my diet tablets to assist me in learning how much to eat and what to eat... so yea, here goes

CW- 118kg

GW- 90kg

the diamond cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfect without trials

What can i say, i haven't had time to exercise as such. I have finally joined the work force, my job being physically demanding is keeping my mouth away from food. I'm finally forcing my body to learn to only eat 3 meals a day, with some snacks.....

i have 2 random days off a week, at first i would find myself compensating for those days i would crave for those fatty foods, and succumb to it. The story is now a lil different, i have more will power built in me and find that i don't eat the naughty foods i once loved to eat....

Must be doing something right, prolly burning more energy is all, but even that would eventually adjust sooner or later the body adapts to any exercise by building up the particular muscles involved in the activity. Over time, the body becomes very efficient and burns fewer calories doing that routine. and then my so called diet will reveal its truthful colours.

time will tell.

GW- 90kg

CW- 110kg

here i go again,

Been a few months since i have logged onto this page. been quite busy, now that i have a job its hard to find time to do much now days....lucky for me my job is physical, 8hrs non stop. so i guess im using this as my next hope/alternative of losing this weight of mine, seeing i gave up walking. but it appears that i haven't added on weight since the last time i was on, in fact i have lost a few kilos. Should have lost MUCH more, but i get home and pig out on junk food, wasting the days effort. Today i hope to buy a product that will keep me from eating after work, or eating the wrong foods.

current weight: 113kg

It's hard to answer-Whats wrong?- when nothing is right

Well, i'm a week away from my goal of 90kg/198ponds. This goal was planned since April this year when i weighed in at 264pounds.

I have failed the mission. I'm not a very big eater at all, but it appears that i easily put on weight fast. I do have a sweet tooth, love my chocolates, i don't eat cakes. I had way to much time on my hands/fridge, being unemployed and all. Well, i'm going to start work very shortly, and will be forced to stay away from food except for lunch and dinner, so i hope this will help me start my journey once more.

I wasted 6months. I guess one only loses when they give up, i refuse to give up. I did stop walking for various reasons, one being I was lazyyyy.....

I start this journey at 255pounds, with a 57pound goal in mind.

CW- 255pounds/116kg

If the wind will not serve, then take the oars.

Well, here i go again....

Up until the 31st August i weighed in at 120kg/264lbs, even more than i did when i last registered those numbers. But like stated on my title, i decided to take up the oars. Last week on the the 7th day into my program, i lost 4kg/8.81lbs.

I weigh in again on the 14th, few days from now, and as it is it appears i lost another kilogram/2.20lbs.

Some strange reason i feel this time it will be easy, i think i have tapped into the secrets of the mind, and now have access to the willingness, as a result i'm adopting that will power. Or maybe it's just that i start off with a good breakfast thats keeps me full for longer...lol

CW- 115kg / 253lbs

GW- 90kg / 198lbs (at this point)

when you have just climbed out of a deep well and are perched on top, you are in the greatest danger of falling in again.

Well,

It has been like 2 months since i had last bothered commenting as i have relapsed back to my old ways and all those kg/pounds lost although not all that much, has all come back to haunt me.... basically i have relapsed back into my old weighs, my mind took advantage due to illness and some injury that are all now rectified. I need to train my mind i guess, like they say," mind over matter".

Anyways, i'm not gonna declare defeat by any means, I must not look where it is i fell, but where it it i slipped to begin with. I have had my fun with food and laziness, now it is time once again before the end of the year to lose what it is i have gained and hopefully more.

CW- 116kg

I am who I am today, cause of the choices I had made yesterday

Well, here I am again. . . . I decided that i should officially weigh myself every month using the weighing scales at the shopping complex in the mens toilet, how tacky i know! anyways, I attempted to weigh myself on the 24th of May, but what do u know, the scales were still outa order...Thats ok though, it was my 2nd month anniversary on the 5th of June, so i decided today was gonna be the day i weigh myself. I am happy to report that l lost a further 3 kilos since the last time i weighed my self, using the more sophisticated scales; a dollar worth paying for

I wont rely on my scales anymore, as it gives me 3 different readings. I will just use it as a guide and every month on the 5th, I will use the scales in the mens toilet lol.

As for exercising, theres been a great reduction due to laziness I guess, and partially because it has been raining cats and dogs. I haven't really done any cardio work except for walking..I slacked off even in my weights but I have been maintaining my calorie count. I guess now that I have lost 3 kilograms I'm going to walk a lil more regularly. Let us see what the next month brings forth..

CW: 107kg

Don't look for a light at the end of the tunnel, go light it yourself

Perhaps my weekly weigh in are a lil premature to say the least....just to keep myself updated, i thought it would be a good idea to keep with this journal business.

I am currently under going an experiment, i have taken advantage due to the fact that i fell ill with the flue and haven't worked out at all since. I have kept my calories in check though consuming about 2000 a day sometimes a lil more or less.... I wanted to get my body use to only a calorie deficit without exercising to actually see whether or not deficits by itself makes a difference. I didn't do any arobic/weights nor specific walking since the 2/5/08 till this day, cept when i went to the store i walked around a bit.

I thought it would be a good idea to not let the body get use to all these activities to soon, otherwise it would get use to it and i would be then forced to do more activities and or cut more calories in order for me to lose weight. So, basically what i am doing now is retraining my metabolism from the start.

Anyways, I haven't yet gotten new scales as the ones i have now are sh*t as depending how i stand on them they can give me 3 different types of reading. So until i find good scales im forced to use my scales on a weekly basis, and on the 24th of every month head off to the scales at the store.

I actually did just that, back on the 11th of may using the scales from the store, i clocked in at 110kg, compared to the 24th of April, when i was 112kg. I went to weigh myself again this morning but the weighing machine appeared to be rooted, it even took my dollar coin, wasn't very happy as i had to drive 5 minutes to reach my destination. So anyways, with my scales this morning i weighed in at 108.5ish kg.

I cant be definite about my weight at the moment. Come the 24th it will be my 2nd month. I will measure my weight at the store and hopefully b4 then, i can compare it to what one of 3 readings that my scales gives me, matches with the one at the store.

I have lost about 1k in 15days doing jack, not enough for my likings. Maybe it is time to give my body an injection of either walking or cardio workouts with strength training to push things along. when my body gets use to that i add more and more. I just need room to bargain with i guess.

I'll start tomorrow with 25min' cardio, followed by weight training.

CW 108.5 (home scales)
