I feel good, look good and am so excited to make this journey. I've researched myself crazy and seem to have a basic game plan. It's 19 weeks out and I am working on putting on muscle and cutting fat, sodium and sugars from my diet. I've started a cycle workout with tri-sets and need to tweak my delt and glute routines...any suggestions? My legs and abs are good, my lats a work in progress. I plan to take weekly photos tracking my progress. I love this site for all the knowledge, tools and support. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.
BF% around %15 starting, 113-114 and feeling good!

So, here are my pictures from the Ridgewalk and Run 10k I ran in last Sunday. They are hilarious. Notice the progression from clean to verrrry muddy. LOL! Can't wait til my next race.

OMG! I had the best time today. I ran my first competitive 10k race since high school today. It was also my first trail run. I had little preparation as far as long runs or really any runs lately! I finished 16th overall and 2nd for my female age group which I grow out of next year! Since we had several inches of snow the other day, the trails were extremely muddy and still snow covered in areas; crazy messy! I didn't know what to expect and actually loved it waaaaay more than road races. I knew I would. We used to trail run in high school for practice. The mud and slippery hills added a good bit of time to everyone compared to last years; nearly 7 minutes. If I remember correctly, I came in at 60.35. Not bad for no real training and bad conditions on the trail. I fell too, right in the mud! LOL! Added some pictures. It was a beautiful trail and I loved every squishy time my foot hit the ground. Those are my people. Ahhhh......

I took the girls to Letchworth State Park on Sunday for some sun and fun. We swam and hiked a little. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.I added some pictures before the site started having errors.
I think my body needed it to jump the metabolism back into gear. I see my trend dropping slowly (which is good) and staying down. No bad habits really either. I still obsess, but in a healthful fashion. LOL! 112 and rolling... Seems not obsessing over restricting calories is working fo me now. I always knew that, I just couldn't mentally convince myself to do it.
Hope all is well with fellow calorie counters.

So, lately I've been slacking on having a good diet. I don't overdo it, but have eaten things I normally wouldn't. I'm dating someone who oddly enough is overweight. At first it bothered me, but I care a lot about him and now don't notice it as much. I do want him to get healthy though. I think he's been a bad influence at times on me and I've been a good one for him.
I don't know what's in store for the relationship, but I need to get back to being healthy eating Susan before my body does decide to hold on to weight. I am hovering at 113-114 now for about 2 weeks. I still have pipe dreams of the elusive 105. LOL. I don't know what is so enchanting about that number or if I'll ever see it, but one can dream.
Now, off for a bike ride and who knows.

So, after 7 and a half months, I finally had the first real (though light) period. I am on Mirena and rarely have one. Kinda surprising as I found my weight not to have changed as it used to. Normally, I could loathe a 3-5 lb gain every month. I am super psyched to see if I am actively losing and it goes down in a few days. I would be through the roof! Right now I am weighing in at 115 still.

So this weekend I received two separate comments on how I looked like Jillian Michaels face and body! I have gotten that before and I have to say I am stoked. I find my workout personality a lot like hers and her training techniques are likened to mine. LOL! No nonsense. I was incredibly flattered and a client at the salon told me I had great legs...it was a female client. :P
I just thought I would share this as it really made my day. I LOVE her and this she looks awesome... Go me, go me!

115 this morning. I am shocked, but I'll take it. I finally got over the hump. I just really hope it stays off this time.

I decided to do a little zig-zagging to see if I could get my plateau to budge and sure enough, it worked! A stall at 117 finally ended with a weigh in of 116 today. GNC Burn60 seems to be a great aid in my workouts also. I feel like I am getting more out of them. Now I just hope today wasn't a fluke and the trend keeps up or at least stays off! LOL!
