Entry Three weeks of no counting
Nov 09 2009 14:34

Well, the last three weeks kicked off with a wedding and that's when I stopped counting. The only thing that saved me was training extra hard for my testing. I am proud to say that I made it to every class except for the night of our board meeting. I think it was super beneficial and I don't want to lose that momentum, or the momentum of my weight loss.

Weight was up today to 195. Yesterday I was at a recent low of 190.5. So close to the 180s. My spreadsheet has sat idle, too, and I think that I was scheduled to be about 187 for testing, so I'm a bit behind schedule. But for not counting, I think I held my own very well.

Thinking back, this about the time I lost momentum the last time I set a goal to lose weight, right around Thanksgiving and right about the time I was about to hit the 180s. And I see myself heading in a dangerous direction with the celebration after testing (ice cream, cashews, Chinese and sugar babies.) I better be extra vigilant so that I can have a legitimate splurge at our next BL party or at Punk Maroo's for T-giving.

So I'm back. Mr. E heads back to work today and we'll be back in our normal routine. I hope to alternate between 3 and 4 classes each week, but lots will depend on my new carpool arrangement.  Three weeks off CC means three weeks of super vigilance!
