i'm still here. still sick. this stupid cold is just lingering. that's what they always do, for me, at least. it turned to sinuses & back to a cold. maybe it's finally almost gone. i dunno!
i've been eating good, for me. ;) and getting my 'excellent day'. sometimes, i don't even finish up with that hour & 15 minutes until 10 pm, but i'm getting it in. it makes me feel good that i'm not just quitting. hehe i'm not really walking, just getting in exercise. mostly doing the twist & stuff. i dunno. whatever i feel like doing at the time.
work is cool. my doc came in today & bought some vitamins & signed up for the new 'wellness' card. that started today & i'm pushing almost everyone to get it. i just want them to save money! :D my hours are good & i'm only working 4 days a week, but it's still over 25 hours.
jamie might get a really awesome job! i sure hope so! good hours, pay, benefits, etc. ang was home for the weekend & she went back today. she's really happy. she's got a new bf. LOL she doesn't say much about it, but she's obviously happy. her poor old bf! she wanted to get married! AND they go to college together & the new bf, too!
you guys better be behaving! if you need to stay inside, just stay in, BUT get up & get moving!!! there are a million things you can do to be getting exercise in. :D
hey, i don't have a treadmill anymore OR my stepper. i have the gazelle, but i don't use it much. i know... i know... LOL i should! even hubby is starting to tell me to use it! well, that was when i complained about no treadmill & no stepper...
eat good, too! it's not that hard. you can do it. i know you can. just be sure to allow yourself a treat once in a while OR everyday! if it's small...
edited: oh, and it's sweating time again! LOL me & hubby are getting our eye exams & glasses tomorrow & then off to my gyno... ewww! i don't want a pap smear! whatever... i know... i know... just shut up & get it done! i will... :(
Glad you like your job and you get 3 days off too! Nice to hear your DD is happy with the new bf. My dd is moving out. She's getting an apt with her best friend. I'm going on the apt search with them. Fun, fun.... My dd has a new bf now too. Looks like she's finally thru with that old one. Remember him? My son has a gf now! We haven't met her yet. He said she's noone to bring home. LOL |
scoot down... a little more... a little more! hehehe! I hate that dr trip! I feel for ya... but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! Sorry you are still feeling so cruddy! Get some rest and drink LOTS OF JUICE AND WATER!!! Hope your daughter gets that job! Sounds awesome... I am still looking. Okay, I am not looking very hard but I still need a job!!! hehehe!!! You are doing so good - even when you don't feel well. I swear that grated fresh ginger with a bit of fresh lemon sqeezed in and filled up with hot water is the best thing for colds and sinus problems. If you make it and it's too tart, add a little sugar. If you can't sleep, add a little booze, and you'll sleep like a baby and feel better in the morning. |
