When I started this journey I didn't realize how hard it would be. I knew it wouldn't be as easy as it was when I was 30, but geez 25 lbs in 15 weeks was really long.
I am proud of myself that I am sticking with this new way of eating and living. I've got my blood pressure down to almost normal range. I swore I wasn't going to be a slave to medication for the rest of my life. My knees rarely hurt, and I thought I would never be pain free.
I give myself a pat on the back and look towards my next goal of 30 lbs lost. That's the way I've been doing it 5 lbs at a time.
Time for breakfast...I've haven't eaten breakfast since I was 10. Now I can't go without it. Really does make a difference.
Working with weights today and a nice long 6 mile walk.
It's all about me now.....
