Entry Back in therapy?
Jan 18 2008 18:34

I may be going to a partial day program for eating disorders again, if they take me.  Apparently, even though I was at my low weight over vacation, and have been at the weight I was when I went inpatient last time I have still been functioning... and now I'm told that if my bloodwork isn't good and my weight isn't up a few pounds they could recommend inpatient again.

Why doesn't this make me angry or scared?  I hate this eating disorder, I hate it, yet I'm so stuck in it.  I could use some help or maybe just someone to talk to just to get my mind off of this and food.  I still have an evening snack to eat *sigh*

you were doing so good.  You have to stop looking at eating as a task, i know that's hard to do.  I'm trying to gain weight and i look at eating as a task sometimes, but you have to make it fun.  Think about foods that you only get to eat on vacation, or as a special treat, and then try to find a way to make those foods at home.  Look towards the future- that's what I'm doing and it helps so much.  Remember you have to be healthy so that you can have children when you find some guy and fall in love, and then you have little girls you want them to be healthy right?? It's got to start with you remember that.Wink

You know I have seen your pictures on myspace any your a pretty young lady. You have your whole life ahead of you and if you eat a healthy amount of "the right foods" will not become overweight.
I will not tell you I have any idea what demonds someone with an eating disorder faces, I will tell you though that you should be full of self esteem and self worth.
