Entry Week 1 done

Well, I survived swimming 1 mile every morning during the week.  And hit the gym on Monday and Friday for another 1 hr.  fifteen minutes of exercise.  Pretty sore leg muscles and shoulders, but otherwise feel pretty good.  I will wait and weigh on Sunday morning to see how I have done.  I am showing about a 7800 calorie deficit approximately.  So....Tongue outSmile

GOOD FOR YOU!  I've been struggling with losing a pound or 2 and then gaining it back.  I know I need to exercise more and have found someone to walk with.  I wish I could swim--it sounds like a great exercise!  Does it help if you don't weigh your self as often?  I have heard different opinions and frankly I am confused by which is better--weighing everyday or once a week.  If I lose, I am encouraged.  If I gain, I tend to get depressed. 

I am beginning again--today.  My goal is achievable, I think.  I would like to lose 10 pounds by September 14th.  I would really like to lose more, but I will be happy with this.(seeing as how I haven't lost anything since February).  Well, take care!  Good luck! Stay healthy!
