Ok drum roll please......
4.3lbs lost this week! Wooohooooo thats 10.3lbs so far for me.
I guess I was retaining some water weight because it just "fell" off all of a sudden. I was so excited to drop into the 350's (lol doesn't that sound funny) and now I'll be reaching for the 340's. Whew I really kicked up the exercise this past week. I thought it was going to kill me but hey I'm still kicking. My "team" for the biggest loser is great. My walking partner really pushes me to walk faster and further. That is such a blessing because I don't know if I would push myself like that if I was alone. We are walking 1.5 miles 3 days a week together but I walk during lunch a couple of days a week and do at least a 1.5 mile walk sometime during the weekend. She told me that we were going to walk 2miles next week...oh my I'm sweating and huffing after our 1.5 mile! Its hard work losing the weight I can't lie but it does feel good to see the progress on the scale, in my clothes and most importantly in how I FEEL. I feel so much better about myself and life in general than I did just 7 short weeks ago when I started this journey to a more healthy me.
Congratulations your weight lose! I know how you feel about seeing them scales show your hard work. I really envy you having someone to walk with and helping to push you to go further. I'm still doing it with the girl on TV and walking 2 miles in my living room. With a fan on me. lol. I'm still sweating and huffing after I'm done so I know it's working. But I know not as good of being outside. We are in a heat wave right now 100 degrees and 104 on Sunday so I'll have to wait until it gets a little cooler. Your doing so good!!!!! |
Great job! Do you notice how much better you feel when the people around you make bad food choices and you make good ones? I'm starting to feel a little triumphant about that! Exercise is the key and I know how lazy I have been in the past about getting off my big butt and just doing it. A cool thing about my hiking trail is that there is a spring with a rock bridge over it. It is such a peaceful place. I'd really love to take my journal out and write, but I need to keep moving. Keep up the great work! As long as you keep posting and I read your progress, I feel like I have a teammate and it keeps me going! I notice that a lot of people don't update their journals as often as we do. I enjoy reading them. Take care and here's to a healthy weekend! |
mnic - I'm going to have to look for the inside walking thing for when bad weather comes! I have exercise TV but I haven't really paid it much attention but I will now! tiredofbeingthebiggirl - I know just what you mean because it helps me too to read about others progress or problems. Just the feeling that there is someone else struggling like me makes me feel like *I* can do it. Its funny when I go out now I feel like everyone is watching to see what I order! I guess that is a good thing it keeps me accountable.
