Not feeling great these days. Kind of feeling down about alot of things. #1 being my weight loss, #2 daughter lost her job, #3 weight loss, #4 tired all the time, #5 Did I mention my weight !!!

Feeling really lazy these days. Trying to read so much about calories, how much I should be eating, zig zagging my calories, scales, trying anything to move the scales a bit. It is also TOTM for me so that always makes things worse.

Don't really feel like going to my Zumba Classes tonight, but I've eaten 1222 calories today and I have to get that Burn meter up to show a deficit. Have been concentrating on that alot also.

Dr. Oz says with my age, I should be eating about 1,000 calories, but I just can't do it. It's just not enough food for me and I'm starving all the time. I'm also snacking a bit more because of the TOTM. Also ways need a little bit of something sweet. Drinking lots of water, so much that my bladder hurts. Ha

Well guess i better get ready for my dancing classes. Started them thinking they would reall jump start my metabolism big time and make a difference in inches on the waist, but it's been a month and nothing has changed. Not sure if I will continue with them or not. It's hard and I am jumping the whole time I am there, I have to be burning at least 350 calories for the hour. She has us going and moving for the whole hour.

Then heading home to watch "Biggest Looser" my favorite show these days. Kind of gives me incentive to go on when I feel this way. Yuck, I feel like crap. Hope tomorrow is a better day !!!

Dr. Oz is nuts! 1000 calories isn't enough, whatever. You're doing just fine.

You and I are in the same boat right now. I've eaten 1260 calories, so I'm going to have to head out for a jog. Here's a deal, I'll go out for my run (even though I absolutely do not want to), if you get to your Zumba class. Whad'ya say? Deal? Besides, a little exercise is a surefire way to boost your mood and get your mind off those other things!

awww...  i'm sooooo sorry that you feel that way.  :(  man!  i had days that i felt like that, too, and i lost really fast!  lol  not to put your sadness down or anything, but just to let you know it's normal to feel like that.  when i felt that way, i usually lost the next day.  i sure hope you do!

1000 calories?!  no way!  i hope you're eating enough.  if you don't eat enough, you WILL always be hungry and/or destroy what's left of your metabolism.  when you're feeling hungry, have a little treat.  i know you're being really good...  you deserve it!!!

not eating enough would leave you feeling tired & rundown, too...  but so would ttom, i guess.  ;)

i'm sure you'll make it to class.  :D  i hope you have a good time!  i'll be watching BL, too.

i sure hope your daughter finds another job & really quick!

1000 calories is not enough! The minimum for a woman is 1200 if you are exercising it should be more. Make sure you are eating enough.  As snowfence mentioned, not eating enough will also leave you feel hungry, depressed, tired and rundown.

I hope you have a good time at your class.

Not sure how you ended up believing what some overpaid TV doc says. You've been on this journey long enough to know that you need at least 1200 cals - more if you're exercising. You're a smart lady...don't end up anorexic or worse just to see the scales move.

Sorry you're feeling bummed out. This time of year is hard - days getting shorter, fighting our instincts to fatten up for the long winter ahead...just try to remember how far you have come - think where you were a year ago...do you think you could have zumba'd for 5 minutes back then?? Go and enjoy and be proud that you can do a whole class. There are teenagers that can't!!!

I say toss the scale... Do not let that thing dictate how you feel.  I know you feel good! And I know you look good! Why worry about how big or how small the number is. It is a number... I hate numbers! I think dr. oz is crazy! Cute... but crazy!!!I love the way he looks in his little scrubs!Wink

I hope you had fun at your dance class. We know you went...We have complete faith in YOU!Innocent

Maybe you should try eating a little more and see if it'll kick you up - I know it goes against the grain for you completely but try eating an extra apple and some cottage cheese or whatever - maybe an extra 1-200 calories will help - with your deficit (assuming you're burning at least 350 doing zumba) your body only has 872 calories to work with all day and that isn't very much!  When you workout you're suppose to eat a little bit more to fuel yourself.  Try eating a little more on Zumba and heavy workout days - just for a week and see what happens.   I really think it will work for your body - maybe it's just holding on to what it has because it's afraid it's not going to get enough!!You've been zigging and zagging and changing things week to week just try it and see what happens. :)

And, even if it doens't work look at how far you've come!  You're doing so fabulous that maybe your body is trying to tell you that you look great and to stop stressing so much :)

p.s. I was really sad about who was kicked off on BL last night :(
