The bad news: As usual I got away from this site and slipped back into some bad habits.

The good news: I am back!

Boo.. :( those 3 lbs came back. I am working on getting them off this week. I need to start exercising, but once you get out of the groove it is hard to get the motivation back. Having a busy lifestyle doesn't help, especially since I haven't designated time in my schedule to exercise. I leave for work between 7-7:30am, drive 1hr -1hr20min depending on traffic, work 8 hrs, drive home 1hr15min -1hr30min depending on traffic and pick up my daughter from daycare. Then we get home around 6pm, make dinner eat between 6:30 and 7pm. From 7-8 I like to spend time with my little sweet pea coloring or playing or watching TV. Then it's time to get her ready for bed, in bed around 8:30. Now I still haven't checked the mail done dishes, laundry, spent time with son or husband. Now I am pooped... time for bed . And that's Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday and Thursday, sweet pea has karate from 6-6:45 so everything gets pushed back another 1/2 hr or so. . I am not a morning person; I've tried to get up early to exercise. It's not in my blood .

Any suggestions?

Down 4 lbs of the 11 I put on over summer. Amazing how quickly weight goes on, yet how slow it is to come off. I think it was all the cocktails...

Fall is here

Back at it again. I'm like a yo-yo trying to stay on this website. Summer gets so busy it seems like there is no time for the computer. The days are getting cooler so we will be inside more. Hopefully, I can keep myself in-check by using this website again.

Haven't lost a pound since June 6 :( I've been walking and keeping busy at home, watching what I eat (90% of the time), counting calories and still nothing is coming off. I don't think my body burns what this site calculates. I know it is just an estimate, but I think if I eat over 1400 cal/day, I gain weight! Ridiculous because I am 223 lbs! :( sigh....

Monday Morning Blues

Monday is here again. I am not a big fan of Mondays... I would much rather be lounging around the house or doing something other than work. The only problem is I need to get paid for lounging. Hahaha

up and down, up, up and down

The last time I wrote in my journal was the day I should've lost 1 pound, but the scale went up 3! I remained at the same weight since May 9! I've been walking 2 miles 2-3 times a week and for the past 2 weekends I've done serious yard work. I was sweatin like no other those days. This week I walked on Wednesday and will go again tonight. I've started to incorporate some running into it. My friend ran cross country so she is training me how to run for endurance. All that said, I got on the scale this morning and I was down 6 lbs! So I let go of the 3 I gained and 3 more. Now if I can just keep it off. I have lost 18 lbs since the end of February. It's been slow, but at least I got back on track. I had gained 13 lbs last year after working so hard to lose 40. So now I am 5 lbs less than I was were I left off at. I am excited, I really want to keep losing. I am still sooo fat and out of shape. All my weight is in the middle so it really shows :(

Everyone is doing well, keep up the pace! Having a buddy really helps. I finally have one for exercising. Now we just have to keep each other motivated.

THE SCALE IS NOT MY FRIEND!

humph!! I have been on track to lose 1 lb this week; done what I needed to, ate healthy, tracked all my calories in and calories out, and yet I somehow gained 3 lbs!! THE SCALE IS NOT MY FRIEND TODAY. I have been drinking water, trying to avoid too much sodium, everything. I am really kinda bummed out. Hopefully, next week it will show up on the scale. My husband says that TTOM is coming up, but I told him not for another week and a half. I do feel bloated today, could he be right? Still, THE SCALE IS NOT MY FRIEND TODAY. Ok, I think I am done venting.

I walked 2 miles last night. The first mile I did walk/jog intervals. That really worked up a sweat and got my heart rate up. I am not much of a runner, but I enjoyed it.
