INSANITY - continues again

Traveling sucks. Especially when you are in a middle of a workout program. I figured, it's all good since I was helping a really good friend of mine moving. Plus, I got to see my old buddies in San Francisco. So make that 5 days without any exercise (unless I count lifting boxes and cleaning apartment a workout). Going back this afternoon was TOUGH! Plus I had a junk fill of pure fat .... crispy roast pork skin *mmmmmm* Ok, totally reminded myself that bad food is not good when I wanted to exercise later that same day. Note to self: Exercise first then eat junk food later :) I hope MC is doing much better than me. She is tolerant enough to close one of her eyes while I was skipping my exercise this week.

Turbo Kick Certfified!

No Insanity again today! Wow, talking about excuses to get out of the program. Actually, I DO have a good excuse. Friday I ended up working on my project before heading down to San Diego. --- I stopped by Powder Blue Production (Chalene's Company) on the way and did a major TURBO shopping I enriched myself by listening to motivational audio CD in the car along the way about my Beachbody Coach business, and on my stop at Starbucks I talked to a person about being a Beachbody Coach.

I didn't exercise, so I eat conservatively: Cereal for breakfast (Kashi Sunshine and Autumn Wheat), Shakeology Chocolate + Coffee, 2 Grilled cheese toast (for lunch on the road). Dinner though was a splurge. I needed the energy for the next day, a full day of exercise, training and workshop for my TK cert.

Dinner: Sushi. Awesome, delicious, bounty from the sea prepared by seasoned authentic Japanese sushi chef.

Saturday: TURBO KICK Certification. A full day of fun and energy. Unfortunately I didn't prepare well for the day. Only had 2 P90X protein bars in my Turbo gym bag to fuel me the whole day. Plus P90X Recovery drinks. Am I glad I load up the previous night.

My calorie burned that day was estimated at 700-800 during the whole day workshop, and considering I barely have calories in, that really was not good. My dinner after all was done: IN n OUT DOUBLE HAMBURGER and FRIES

And after a long drive back to LA, a snack of Kashi cereal, popcorn, egg white scrambled with sweet soy sauce.

Gotta go back to INSANITY again Monday. Right, MC?

Insanity Break - Bodyworks and Core plus Steps

I started to feel the effect of Shakeology. I am talking about the my energy level the past few days. I mean Turbo Jam then Insanity yesterday, and today 2 full hour of Total Bodyworks and Core then Cardio Steps at the gym. It was not planned, I just felt that I didn't have enough and my body wanted more. Besides, I got the energy to do it.

It felt really good! I was planning to do Insanity later in the evening, but chain of events this afternoon changed my schedule.

All in all, I'm glad that I did the 2 exercise in the morning. I don't feel so bad about missing Cardio Recovery now.

TURBO INSANITY - A Jammin' Plyometric Cardio

Well, if there is such a program, I think no one will be dare enough to touch it :) Turbo mix with Insanity? hm.....

This morning I woke up with tons of sugar in my system. Naturally I go for a double dose of workout. This badonk-a-donk starts to feel heavy and jiggly every time I do a jog in place or Jumping Jack. Scary fact. That means I have been neglecting my legs exercise.

11am: Turbo Jam - Cardio Party Live (always love the music and the sets here. It just flows so good)

12:30pm: Insanity - Plyometric Cardio (I thought might as well do it now since I have plans for this evening) After heart rate is down and body cool down a bit, I popped in the DVD and hit 'PLAY'

It was not that bad. I felt I have more energy than doing it in the evening.

I am making a point to do some leg-xercise with the bands later today though. Doing some reps of butt lifts movements.

INSANITY - continues

2 days sans exercise are killing me! So yesterday I made myself rolled out of bed, put on the sneakers and HIT PLAY. My poor boyfriend could just watch from the sideline, thanks to his injured knee and ankle (motorcycle mishap over the weekend).

Monday: INSANITY Plyometric Cardio is what I needed to kick my butt!

Tuesday: Morning: TKB class with Turbo Fire buddy Jeneen. Love her energy and bounciness. And I met another Indonesian woman who is into Turbo and HHH!! How cool is that??

Tuesday: Evening: INSANITY Pure Cardio. Thanks MC for reminding me of our workout! :D Isn't it good to have a buddy that wont let you slide?

I started with a weird sensation in my head, almost like pounding every time I jumped and jogged. I kept on going, sipping P90X Result & Recovery formula, Ripped Force, and water. Good thing it went away after the warm up.

I wonder how much calories I burned mopping the floor after that. Hm.....

INSANITY - Pure Cardio

I ate a bucketful of popcorn the night before. So, naturally I have the urge in the morning to do something. I call it leftover carbo-energy :)

Morning: TURBO JAM - Fat Blaster; with ALL TURBO intensity. Yup, that does the trick.

Evening: INSANITY - Pure Cardio; oh those Switch Kicks are killing me!!! My quads were still tired from the previous move and Shaun wanted me to jump and lift my legs in the air??? Oi......

"Sometimes I wonder why I do the things I do in the fitness industry? .... Coz I wanna look good!!" :D -Shaun T

INSANITY - Cardio Recovery

What recovery??? LMAO I think I work more on my upper body in this recovery than in the other workout :)

What I don't like about these days is the temperature. It's COLD! I'm more used to hot weather. I like working out in a medium temp. Definitely not cool or cold. 5 minutes after working out my body temp just dropped and the sweats are gone! Zapped into the dry air.

Anyhow, winding down for the night. wondering if MC gets to do her Insanity tonight. Proud of her boy though :) Must be a good feeling for a parent to have a kid so gifted.

INSANITY - Plyometric Cardio

Plyometric Cardio done! This doesn't get easier no matter how many times you do it. (I think I've done it 5 times including this one)

Didn't use my HRM today so I don't know how much calories I burned.

Total workout today:

Hip Hop Hustle (1.5 hr)

Plyometric Cardio (41 min)

INSANITY - Restart & Replay!

It's good to have a buddy to keep yourself accountable. Back in Vegas this week and I am going to restart INSANITY with MC. Second time doing Fit Test was not any easier than the first time I did it.

Ok, MC. I just finished Fit Test. Here is my result for Day 1

62 Switch Kick
53 Squat Jump
95 Power Knee
30 Power Jump
7 Globe Jump (I hate this jump! I sux LOL)
12 Suicide Jump
17 Push Up Jack
20 Low Plank Oblique

My heart is pumping fast from the Ripped Force drink. So I'm going to add a bit of Turbo now :)
Catch up with u after you're done k?
