			<title>Self-reflection...</title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;In between dusting, vaccuuming, emptying/loading/running the dishwasher and attacking Mt. Washmore aka THE LAUNDRY, I revisited my virtual model at mvm.com.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now in Dec 2008, I was weighing in at 216lbs.&amp;nbsp; As of today I'm at 195lbs.&amp;nbsp; My goal has always been driven by the BMI calculator, ie- shooting for that &quot;perfect&quot; BMI which = 150lbs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;...but when I compare the 150lbs model to (I think) a more reasonable 160lbs, there is no visible difference!&amp;nbsp; The only difference is my BMI drops from slightly overweight to normal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I lost my 43lbs previously with CC, I was at 172lbs - only 12lbs shy of 160.&amp;nbsp; The more I think about it, I'd be completely satisfied with 160lbs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I've changed my user settings to a goal weight of 160lbs.&amp;nbsp; Suddenly I feel HOPEFUL, to have a realistic goal that is in my reach!&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Feelin the burn</title>

&lt;p&gt;Took the girlies to see the new Harry Potter movie yesterday afternoon ~ they loved it.&amp;nbsp; Ended up going out for dinner last night to the Keg...instead of having the usual bigass steak and loaded baked potato, I had a salad and the king crab leg dinner. YUM.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So even tho I was totally off the wagon for most of last week and last weekend, I managed to only pack on 1lb.&amp;nbsp; So I know my working out and food logging is working.&amp;nbsp; Just gotta keep at it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After almost 2 weeks of solid insomnia, I think I am coming thru the dark tunnel of depression into the light of health once again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I made a valiant attempt at doing my 20mins windsor pilates dvd.&amp;nbsp; Holy crap.&amp;nbsp; It's been a while to say the least!&amp;nbsp; I then wrestled my dusty neglected elliptical out from our bedroom into the living room and sweated it out for 20mins while watching Food Network ~ I know I know, here I am trying to work out, and I'm watching delicious mouthwatering food ~ somehow I find it inspiring.....?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also adjusted my activity level in my settings.&amp;nbsp; My plan is to alternate pilates, arm workouts with 5lbs weights, and ab exercises, (1 each day) and then to finish each workout with at least 20mins on the elliptical.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I've been waiting and waiting and WAITING for a decision from E.I. re my unemployment claim....all I'm asking is for some assistance thru the summer just until my new childcare clients start Sept 1st.&amp;nbsp; Crikey moses it's been like pulling freaking teeth.&amp;nbsp; But yesterday I finally spoke to someone in the bureaucracy who CARES!&amp;nbsp; My claim has been accepted!&amp;nbsp; Prolly why I was finally able to sleep last nite.&amp;nbsp; I also interviewed a family on Sunday who is thrilled to be joining us in Sept ~ so now all my spots are filled!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's been 18mos of pure hell and I am glad that things are finally settling down career-wise and with our younger daughter's anxiety.&amp;nbsp; I feel reborn!&lt;/p&gt;

			<description>&lt;p&gt;...at a steady 194lbs.&amp;nbsp; Incredible really.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I seriously need to get serious.&amp;nbsp; Seriously.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Yesterday I stocked up on all fresh fruits and vegs, bought a box of fibre 1 cereal ~ it really helps get that fibre intake up and it's somewhat yummy too.&amp;nbsp; What a concept LOL.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Personal life has been a bit chaotic lately.&amp;nbsp; Who's isn't tho right?&amp;nbsp; My girlies and I are having a bit of a sad day...my youngest daughter's mice had babies a little over 4 weeks ago, and this is the week where we have to say goodbye to a few of them.&amp;nbsp; I've already pre-arranged to give them to a local pet store THAT DOES NOT SELL THEM AS FOOD, so we just finished scooping each baby mouse up in a water glass so we could see who had jingle bells and who didn't LOL.&amp;nbsp; We're going to keep 2 females ~ who are so fricken cute I can't stand it!&amp;nbsp; So momma mouse Hermione will be living with her 2 daughters, Cheezy and Oatmeal.&amp;nbsp; I'll post pics later.&amp;nbsp; Dad Harry unfortunately has to remain in solitary so we don't end up with more food-named baby mice!&amp;nbsp; All in all, though it was a great experience for my girls, and I'm glad we let Harry and Hermione breed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;OK.&amp;nbsp; Slept in til 11 today ~ aaaaaaaaaah!&amp;nbsp; Then off to the pet store.&amp;nbsp; Then into our little pool when we get home.&amp;nbsp; It's another scorcher today.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I'm so disappointed in me.&amp;nbsp; I had a great day food wise yesterday, drank all my h20 yada yada yada.&amp;nbsp; Ran a bubble bath for 9yr old daughter, then she asked me if I'd cut her hair - short.&amp;nbsp; She has long long long beautiful brown hair cascading down her back.&amp;nbsp; Not exactly the best summertime 'do.&amp;nbsp; And of course she's been &quot;blessed&quot; with my thick heavy hair (poor thing wah wah I know).&amp;nbsp; Well I gathered her mane into a big ponytail and snipped it off to shoulder length, then took out the elastic and evened it all out.&amp;nbsp; OMG she looks AMAZING!!!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So after we tucked both girlies into bed, hubby settled on the couch to attempt to watch Tropic Thunder - we bought it awhile ago, and barely managed to watch half of it before turning it off in disgust.&amp;nbsp; Stupid movie.&amp;nbsp; Apparently it was still stupid, as Luvie was sawing logs about 15mins into it.&amp;nbsp; So I was tippy tapping on the laptop, playing all my wordy games...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I fought a valiant fight.&amp;nbsp; I switched from wordy games to the new slot machine game Luvie bought me for my bday.&amp;nbsp; I was winning and things were great.&amp;nbsp; Then I hit a losing streak in the game and started telling myself, well if I lose THIS time, I'm going to eat the chips.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;suffice it to say, I murdalized that bag.&amp;nbsp; snorfled it like a horse eating oats.&lt;/p&gt;
