Most fresh produce and health food store items can be stored in a cabinet or in a cool place and not necessarily in a refridge.  This makes it handy.  Plus you can always chop them up and put them in a glad container and mark it with your name, etc and talk to your family ahead of time so they don't use your food for your weight loss efforts.  This is sometimes what I have to do with my hubby because he will eat my health food and then go to his junk food and it irks me so I tell him hands off unless he really needs it because he doesn't have any of his version.  I usually have to buy two different products of the same stuff because he needs to gain weight and I am trying to lose.  Grocery shopping can be difficult.  Good luck over the weekend.  My suggestion would be to try to avoid bankruptcy if you can because it affects your credit for seven years.  Even though it is like starting over you still have it on your record and a lot of places aren't willing to give you credit, trust me, I know from experience.
