On cc I had my goal set for 140 pounds BUT I was thinking it would make me feel a lot better having the shortest goal of 250. So now I should reach 250 by Jan 27th 2010. Which at this time means losing 25 more pounds by then. I am at 275 atm.
First Goal 250
2nd goal 225
3rd goal 200
4th goal 175
5th goal 150
I think mini goals are a wonderful idea :) they keep it real and give you lots of mini boosts :) |
I also have a thing with setting goals that seem so far away. So instead I do mini-goals. My ultimate goals is 160 and it seems soo far when I'm at 238. So I try to do weekly goals with the 2 lbs. and it worked great for me last week. That way I'm focusing on the week to week and finding comfort in being able to meet that goal. Yes I think mini goals are the best way to go. Just don't be disappoined if you come up 1 or 2 pounds short. All the other weight lost is just as big an accomplishment if you did lose the extra 1 or 2 pounds.
tmoskley11 started at 235 not far from 238 and my ultimate goal is also 160. I set 3 mini goals. 200, 175 then 168 (bmi normal) . I'm currently 168.9. Now I was the laziest **** alive so if I can do it you can do it too. |
