Gotta write it down!

Today was pretty good, except for the unexpected rain during my mom's race. It was her 57th birthday and she STILL participated in a race. GO MOM, pretty excellent I think, and maybe next time, if they have it, I will race too. Eventually I want to be running 3-5 miles a day...I definetely think I can do it, it's just going to take some time and conditioning. But seeing all those people run today really made me think, if there's 50-somethings that are running 5k's like it's nothing, there is no reason why I cannot do it. SO that means new goal, although it will be an eventual goal. Find a race, train for it, and finish. Regardless of the place I get, it's something to work to that has a set date and will be a stepping-stone in what should be, a life time goal. I dunno, whatevs...i better stick with it.

On another note, I saw an old 50's movie called The Third Man, and it was awesome. Orson Wells is (was) a bad ass actor for sure. Which brings me to the horribly timed death of my camera. RIP Canon digital elph. You were good to me. Also, RIP Steve Mcnair. Too many deaths lately...too many.

Also, GO AMERICA. Hopefully North Korea and Iran will chill out for a while....

I'm tired of all these indifferent clocks...

I went to the Castle with some friends last night...man, I am too old for that place. Or at least it feels that way. I don't know if I like feeling old. I never really had until this year. Anyhow...I've been really good about cooking most of my meals and making healthy delicious things, yet I've been finding it hard to actually lose the weight I want to lose. I need to dedicate myself a little harder I guess. I also need to exercise even if it's raining, since I'm sure it's going to be like this for the rest of the summer.

I keep having issues with scheduling my day...I do much better with a set routine. Unfortunately, my life is not this way and nothing is ever set. I'm realizing that if I want to accomplish the goals below, I just have to take the time where I have it and use it wisely, instead of being so black and white with my routine. UGH!

BUT....

This month I am going to try extra hard to do all of these things:

-exercise every day (even if it rains), specially cardio....

-eat healthy (no exceptions)

-DO PORTFOLIO WORK (fuck)

-Work (gotta have the skills to pay the bills!)

the goal though, from all these things is to hopefully lose 10 pounds by the end of the month, feel healthier, and have most of my architecture portfolio done.

oh yeah, I also need to be more positive...and less...cynical, I guess :/

Naked juice vs. Clothed Fruits, what's the better choice?

Usually, most of the Naked Juice types I've had have been good! I've had the mango and superfood and they are really filling and make for a pretty RIGHTEOUS breakfast, but the protein one made me feel not so well this morning. That's the last time I get that...

Quads are KILLLLLIN me.
