Today I am 133. I take just 1 day at a time and think if what I am putting in mouth is Healthy & Nutrious. In the mornings I work out before I eat breakfast. I either walk Toby or do strength training with free weights with Margaret Richards (Body Electric) & Gillad for some Cardio. It is hard to believe that since we have been living here, we had joined the YMCA. Now that we are not members, I am working out- go figure! Well for what ever the reason, I am still motivated and my clothes are a little looser.

Today is my son's 18th Birthday. I got up early and made him CC waffles. For an extra surprise I bought 18 lottery tickets and taped them to the Bathroom door then covered it with Birthday wrapping paper with a BOW and a note saying this was present #1. Well he opened the door and spent 10 minutes in the bathroom looking for this present, until we told him it was under the wrapping paper. He was Surprised. It was so nice because his older sister's were their and even got up to eat with him. Instead of waffles I made eggs. No walking this morning, but I plan to exercise later. I weighed in at the lowest I have been in months- 136.2LB. Slow but steady!!!

All right I just update my profile and changed my goal from 115 to 110lbs. According to the site I should reach that by the end of Jan 2008, but so far I have only lost 5lbs since August. I am losing so slow that I don't think I will make that. As of last week I taped some exercise shows and did 2 last week. This week I also did 2 and have set my clock earlier to get up at 5:15am. So now here is my routine: Up at 5:15- Exercised with Body Electric on Thursday, Today was Denise Austin. After a 30 minute work out, I walked Toby for 50 minutes. I hope that if I increase the exercise 2 more days and continue walking, that I can speed up the weight loss. About every few days I try on a piece of clothing that was a little tight and some of them are loose enough that I can now wear in public. So for today (1 DAY AT A Time), I am still motivated. Wow that was alot to journal for me. &nb sp;

I weigh myself everyday, but only record the weight I see on Friday. SO, what do you think, The scale weighed me at my lowest on Friday at 137, but on Saturday, Sunday & Monday it said 138.6. I know that my clothes are fitting better, so I got out the tape measure and I had lost 2 inches on my hips. So overall I am happy. It is just that I am addicted to the scale and go on it numerous times during the day. I remind myself that the numbers don't always mean what they say. Since I finally have the walking down, I am now going to try and focus on adding some stretches, conditioning and free weights. I used the exercises from Denise Autins book on Saturday and this morning after my walk I did a 1/2 hour with Body Electric- A Fitness TV series I had taped. So for today I am still motivated, but the bad new is for some reason I have a lot of gas. It is so embarring, I hope it goes away soon.

Well I was not so good this weekend and now the scale is up 2.5 lbs. Well I am refocused and so far so good today,but I hate the idea that I have to think about food all day long and worry about everything I eat. For 2 months I have made good choice, 1 day of a few carbs and the weight comes right back. I get so frustrated sometimes.!!

Down a pound, Yeh!. I went walking with Toby this morning and tried to jog a little. He was a little taken by it, but ran with me a little until he smelled something good. So we had a little twist and turn a few times, but we walked most of the way. Some of my clothes are fitting looser, I am trying to keep a positive attitude and stay focused on my goals. Taking 1 day at a time. Mental Image of 110, reinforcing with post it on lap top. I have a long day today, going from work to Investors club. I packed my lunch and dinner. I'm crossing my fingers and toes, that tomorrow I will have a good weigh in. I have walked everyday this week.

I am really proud of myself for walking everyday. I must say I really thought I would have lost more weight by now. ON Saturday I decided I would walk Toby around Natures way, which is 4 miles. I committed to do this on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday as well. So this morning we got up and walked again, 1 more day (Tuesday) and then I know we did it. The only thing is it is taking us 1 hr 20 minutes to walk it, we need to speed it up a bit. I also took out some excerise videos from the libary.
My Goal:
Big trip next year to Celebrate 26 years of marriage with my sweet heart. For once in my Life I want to be fit and feel good on the way I look and feel.

I am reading a book called The Secret, By Rhonda Byrne. It is very inspiring. It talks about rethinking positive thoughts and how it acts positively in our lives.
So here it goes:
I will treat my body as a Temple. I will nourish it with healthy foods, I will keep active and think and act like a thin person. These Little Changes will bring Big Rewards.
I WILL BE THIN!!!!!!!
