tweetrita's Journal

I have to write a journal to remind myself as to why I am on this journey to better myself and become a healthy person.
Here is a list of reasons that I want to change my life and body:
1. I want my children to see what a completely healthy lifestyle is like so that they become that way as well. I don't want them to struggle with eating disorders and low self esteem, like I did.
2. I want to get physically tone so that when I go elk hunting, I can keep up with my husband without sounding like a wheezing baboon when we get to the top of mountains.
3. I have this burning determination to finally get the tone body that I have always wanted and to have my "beach body" so to say. I have a mental picture of how I want my body to look and I am pushing myself towards that.
4. I want to start getting into sky diving, rock climbing, kayaking, and so much more so I need to get healthier and stronger to be able to handle these various activities.
5. I want to feel good about myself when I look at my body in the mirror. I have always been too hard on myself and I want to get to a point when I look at myself and know I am beautiful.
These are just a couple of factors that I use for motivation. I know that I should put myself first for my health but my girls are the biggest motivation that I could ever have. They are only 6 and 2 right now but the earlier they learn about healthy foods and exercise they better off they will be for the rest of their lives.
