Alright, so I posted some pics up on my Gallery of my First Scuba Diving Experience - check em out if you get a chance.
Nothing special to report on today ... I didn't make it to Day2 of the Gym when I woke up because I couldn't sleep and woke up at around 2 - then when I had to get up at 5:45 I just kept sleeping...kinda feel bad but oh well - the WHOLE day is not over yet - I will try to make it after work.
Nothing special to report on today actually - just another day another dollar. I got some Karaoke Discs for my TV Setup which my Wife will love so this weekend she can spend some time singing while I play video games hahaha.
I have taken a keen interest in cooking recently and have made my very own Chili around Christmas time which was a big success. I am thinking of making it again but this time with ingredients that will more fit my diet plan. (Instead of Ground Beef - Ground Chicken) etc. I also got a recipe for Kung Pao Chicken that I am going to try out this weekend so hopefully that goes well. I earn more points with my wife if I cook anyways lol!!
Anyways - because I woke up so late today I feel off...like a little confused and stuff - I drank a lot of coffee today too so far - almost the whole pot. I just drink my coffee black though so it's not like I am worried about calories or anything...just Caffeine content. I know caffeine dehydrates me - so I will drink some extra bottles of water to balance the situation.
This marks Day 15 of my lifestyle change (Round 2) and so far so good. The more I keep busy and don't get too attached to calories etc. the less I think about it so I am liking it so far. I am thinking of taking serious scuba diving lessons in the coming days to pick up a new hobby. Since I live in the Philippines it's not that hard to find water to dive in! haha.
Take care everyone - have a great day!
Aaron.
awesome pics! thanks, it reminds me of warm weather. man, i can't wait for this weather to break. maybe someday i'll get the guts to do that, too. it looks so relaxing! no biggie. sleep is important, too. at least you can go to the gym later easy enough, with it being across the street. you'll feel so much better if you go. ;) i'm sure your wife loves the food & having a break from having to cook. it's great that you enjoy cooking! it sure is great to hear how good things are going so far. yep! don't think too much about it. calories & all... just make a few changes & stick with it. the more you do, the more you'll want to do. |
Nice new pics! I think I would be claustraphobic scuba diving. Glad you are doing well and getting into a groove! |
I have been diving over 38 years, Im 52. I started before computers and bc's were being used. We actually used a navy life vest pilots wore. very small and almost impossible to inflate in the cold Monterey Bay, Ca. My lips would get numb. My first dive I experienced an earthquake. The dive master thought I was dead. I held onto the kelp for about 20 minutes until I could see the surface and then headed up. I was 12 at the time. Today I dive in Catalina Island off of LA, its warm and nice. I hope you pursue it, diving's a great sport. My entire family dives, my real estate partners dive and every year we all take a giant group of friends diving. I lost 6 pounds and have bounced around but Im still trying. I found that on my free night out, I drink and eat the wrong stuff and it takes me almost a week to recover my weight loss, so I am regrouping on my plan. Today Im off to the Gym to lift weights with a buddy. Take care and have a good weekend cheers M |
