been forever

Ho hum. My summer weight was REALLY good for awhile, but I lost track of how many calories are actually in food. Soooo, I only lost one pound over 3 months!! Still, I'm not going to beat myself up too much. I'm only 4 pounds from my goal. Although, I think I want to redo my goal a little to 130. I don't think that's too light for my frame now that I'm close.

still here

Work has been hella busy lately, so I haven't been able to journal in a long while. Just wanted to post that things are going very well! I stopped breastfeeding a week ago and I've nearly got my boobs in line. Also, I've lost a few more pounds despite a 3 day work trip where I had to eat out for every meal (not great).

Looking forward to having the summer so I can really start working out on a regular basis again. My weight is getting close to where I want it, but I've lost my butt! I need to build back some muscle.

better

I've got to remember than I'm doing better than I thought. My trend line is down 2 pounds for this month and I've only been losing 3 per month lately. So, this is actually very good. My weight just isn't fluctuating as much so I'm not noticing the little changes.

Remember, remember, remember!!

still stalled

Well I haven't lost weight in a while, but on the upside I haven't gained either. So I'm taking that as a plus for now. Yesterday would have been a loss day, but I got so stressed out that I binged. It's been awhile since I did that. I can't wait for summer vacation!!!!

Right now I'm teaching every block, which means all day no break from 7:30 - 2:30. Ick. I knew it would be hard and it is. I'm getting really run down. Also, baby has a cold so she woke up a lot last night. I had to run to Target and get a new humidifier, etc, etc.

It's Thursday though - only one more day after today. I'm excited by the prospect that I might get to enjoy some sunny weather and go for a jog when I get home! Never thought I'd look forward to exercise!!

stalled out

I haven't made any progress in 2 weeks!!! Argh. I've been stressed out and therefore have overeaten many many times. Thankfully, I have the day off tomorrow. Maybe I can take baby on a jog (jogging stroller). Hopefully the weather will hold.

Have a Happy Easter everyone!

doing fine

Hubby had the baby yesterday. He actually asked for written directions before I left for work - and he wasn't kidding! I guess he really is a little clueless. He took her to daycare today and is going to stay home with her again tomorrow. I think overall things went well.

I had to warn him that I'm going to stop breastfeeding at night starting Friday night. He's going to be in charge of all nighttime feedings until my "girls" are under control. I don't think he has any idea how much work that can be. Payback's a bitch! Hee hee

My vacation weight came off. Yippee. I should feel confident enough to wear my new pants soon!

back to work

I was glad to get back to work today - I need a break from my break! Hubby hasn't been a lot of help lately and I'm sick to death of him at the moment. A nice break from home is just what I needed.

I ate pretty much whatever I wanted all during break, so I haven't weighed myself in several days. I think after a few days back at work I'll be fine again. I think at the most I put on a couple pounds - no biggie. With me, it tends to be water and um - poo.

just dropping in

I'm on spring break right now - so I haven't left any comments or even read my friend's journals lately - sorry.

My mother came to visit for a few days to get the hang of taking care of baby. She's going to watch her while I'm away a few days next month.

Things went really well. I thought I'd gained a ton of weight - but I ended up losing two "new" pounds! Wow!

Baby is at daycare today so I can have one real day off this week. I might go to the mall later and see if I can find some tops for work. I'm realizing I don't have a lot of summery clothes and my classroom gets insanely hot! Also, dropping weight is great - but I'm running through clothes sizes! I've been too scared to get rid of the big stuff - but I think I'm going to give my size 10 pants to charity now that I'm approaching a size 6.

I'm just worried that as I stop breatsfeeding the weight will creep back on. We'll just have to see!

midnight poo

Baby has this weird habit of waking up in the middle of the night to poop! I can't figure her out. Last night she was up as 12:30, happy as a little clam and wanting to play. I knew what was coming so I just waited and sure enough - RIIPPP! A huge poo. I had to change her clothes and scrub her down! Then she had a quick snack and went back to sleep for the night. Funny - yet a little exhausting.

Most of my baptism weight came off. I always forget how salty pizza is. I am at a really nice low right now. I want to take off 6 more pounds and then reevaluate. I like how I look in clothes, but I'm kind of flabby underneath. I need to start jogging again. All in all things are going pretty well. Plus, I have spring break next week and my mother is coming to visit and get used to taking care of the little one. She's going to grandma's house for a week when summer starts.

Almost forgot - I was at Target last night and tried on a pair of size 6 jeans for fun. They fit! Holy crap! I didn't buy them b/c they looked as cheap as they were, but still - fun.
