eating problems, binging

You are eating at night because you are not giving your growing body enough to eat at the beginning of the day.  There's a reason that breakfast is called the most important meal of the day!!! You probably don't have much appetite in the am because you are eating in the pm & therefore your blood  sugars are still high in the morning.  So break the cycle & U will feel better.

If you are talking about white sugar (from your "urgent" post), those are empty calories and are not healthy at all.  I don't know what Konnyakku is, but I wouldn't believe everything advertisers put on the packaging they are trying to sell.  A young, growing girl needs more protein intake/kg than the rest of us; protein will also prevent or slow down cravings for simple carbs (like sugar), as well as binges.  Many people also find that eating a small amount every 3-4 hours prevents binging by keeping blood sugar levels more constant.  Drink enough water so you have to pee at least every 90 min or so (erery hour is better).  Also 500ml of anything will fill you up, so (for example) make it 500ml water rather than 500ml of peanut butter!

To avoid generally unhealthy foods, stick to things unrefined & unprocessed: fresh food straight from the farm.  Avoid anything with more than five ingredients, with ingredients you can't pronounce or know what they are, food in cans & nearly everything not on the perimeter of the supermarket.  You will be miles ahead of most people.

I know other's opinions are hard to take, especially at your age, but your inner/real worth is not dependant on what others can see!  Good Luck!

Konnyakku

From what I can find on the internet, Konnyakku sounds like any other diet-craze the whole world over -  really only helpful to the people selling it!  Real food is for real people.

ever heard of shirataki noodles? It was made out of Konnyaku also.. So..??I don't know if its real healthy or not.. If i don't eat that jelly, i would usually skyrocket my calories with bread. Whole grain or not, bread ARE NOT filling..
