I've decided to write a book about all the clever things I think to say to girls 15 seconds too late.
Chapter 1: The Cute Girl At Best Buy Today
Setting: I'm in the video game aisle pretty much just killing time before a movie. No real plans on buying anything in particular. Up walks a cute girl that heads towards the Nintendo DS's, ississ. We notice each other as she walks by me. I turn back to the video games and continue browsing. We're the only ones in the aisle.
Cute girl: "So, do we just take the whole thing to the front, or what?"
She's looking at the Nintendo DS's. They're encased in these plastic security cases. She was talking to me. I look over and she smiles.
What I should have said: "I guess so, or maybe that thing'll explode with blue paint as soon as you take it out of the aisle. But don't worry, I'll be here to laugh at you if it does." Then more small talk and I get her number.
What I actually said (pretty much): "I peed in your pool! Yaaaaaaaayyy! I like monkeys! Yaaaaaayyy!!"
