I'm alive

Haven't posted here in a while. Hrmm. Well, I'm much about the same weight. I'm okay with it. I'm working to keep up with exercising and not grabbing junk food. Hopefully will be going to gym more often. Work steals a lot of my motivation.

Mini Update

Veggie stock came out awesome! I feel strangely proud of how domestic I've become.

I crocheted a hat for my cousin's baby. I hope it fits his head! It looks too big for a baby, but I followed the pattern closely. We'll see.

John and I haven't gone to the gym once since the WiiFit arrived. I'm rathered bummed out by this. I like having a gym buddy, but it's hard to motivate him when he comes home from work hungry.

I'm rather annoyed at my new job. I had to reschedule training because they misinformed me about being able to use and out-of-date passport. *grumble* At least I have the afternoon to muck about and do some errands now?

Vegetable stock and Wii Fit Plus

Today I'm going to make some vegetable stock :) I'll probably freeze it for later use. I'd like to make vegetable dumpling stew. I'm also going to get John a small ice cream cake for his birthday. Hopefully, they have a cake suited for two people at the grocery store. I don't want the temptation of a big one.

I'm really loving the Wii Fit Plus. I played Wii Fit with my friend Aryn in college and I totally love the added games and features. I like how you can customize your own work out so you don't have to take the extra time to pick out routines individually. I think the calorie burn estimates are off though. John agrees with me. Especially after trying it out for the first time last night. Watching him hoola hoop was hallarious!

The WiiFit thinks I'm 166 and the bathroom scale thinks I'm around 164. I'm not complaining either way!

Yoga and Real Life stuff

This morning I did 30 min of yoga on the WiiFit :) I'm hoping it will help me with pre-interview jitters. I shouldn't be this spaztic over a job interview. Seriously.

Also-I'd love to strangle whatever person decided shapely eyebrows was a good idea. I spent too much time this morning fussing over my eyebrows.

John and I are going to the gym tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to push harder than last time.

Wii Fit

So, my boyfriend bought a WiiFit plus :D I've decided to work out at the gym 3 days a week and then on off days, do 30 min of Wii Fit. Not too happy about what the WiiFit scale thinks I weigh (a gain of 2 pounds). Oh well!

Mini Goal Met!

And I'm back in the habit of going to the gym! Very exciting.

Contemplating Goal 2

So, I bought a pair of goal pants for my first big goal: size ten dress pants. I have a feeling that I'll be able to fit comfortably in them at my big goal (only 6 pounds away!)

So...I need to figure out what my second big goal is. I'd like to say 150. Ten pounds isn't as much as my initial 30, but since weight has been coming off so slowly...it sounds logical.

Still eager to be 160!

Mini Goal Update

So, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a pound behind for my Saturday mini goal. Oh well. At least I discovered that I lost another pound when I weighed in this morning! I wonder why the weight is coming off so slowly when I'm so freaking close to my first big goal.

Also-question for you all: Do you guys have a bad digestive reaction to eating rich/oily foods when you go out to eat or have an occasional cheat day?

Running again

So, I ran two miles today. This time I wasn't cramping up or tiring out. This is good news! Hopefully this change will encourage the scale to budge.

Stuck-again.

So, I'm stuck again. This time, seven pounds away from my big goal. I'm going to toy around with calories again and see what happens. I'm not too aggravated because this morning when I looked at myself in the mirror I could totally see a thinner me.
