I kinda figured that today, being Saturday, was gonna be a 'free day' for me, however I am currently sitting at just a little over 1100 cals for the day which means not only did I not go over my allotted cals (I try to stay between 1500-1700 cals/day), I am actually UNDER. I will have to go find a snack LOL I have been drinking down my water, and did about 1/2 an hr or so of housecleaning, and logged that into my activities (I claimed sedentary as my usual activity level, which is true).
Just touching base and hoping everyone else is having a good weekend.
:: hugs :: to you all....

Hi :) Glad you found the site! It made a huge difference in my life. If you read my profile, you'll see my story too and also some links I have about bingeing which has been my huge problem since I was a kidlet... So my focus right now is to learn how to get thru life without bingeing and over eating. I find that if I diet, I can tolerate that about 3 weeks, so I've worked really hard to find a meal plan that I can live with... that does not make me feel deprived or rebellious, throw down the towel and eat with glee until I regain everything... I tried every diet that crossed my eyeballs and if someone says diet to me, like my mumsie, my eyeballs spin back into my head and I start feeling like I'm deprived and will never get to eat anything good ever again... :::tears::: I so understand your story about being in tears the other day. It's where I was when I got here, and really kind of felt like I would never be able to change really... or enjoy food or be satisfied. I can't believe i've been here 6 mos now. A lot has changed, thanks to doing this with friends here. It made it so much easier to make myself a priority and stay with making these changes for the 1st time in my life. I no longer have to wonder if that tummy surgery is the only real solution.... cuz it scares the bejeebers out of me.... Anyway, glad you are here! I'm really involved as a hostess in running some movitivational games and challenges in the new games forum. It is all about what we want out of life and our own goals, our own meal plans and our own exercise plans. It is absolutely not about who can lose the most fastest or run the farthest. Exercise is encouraged by it's not about even exercising 5 days a week. In Feb, I started by walking 3 mins a day. It was all I could tolerate. Now I'm working up to 5 days a week... so anyway, why do I mention this? Because there's a spot or 2 open on the teams and we're just getting started and there is still time to join and get caught up. So if you're interested, let me know and i'll get you set up with a team! Check out the new games forums. I'll be right back with a link to the challenge... you can read it and let me know in my journal if you're interested :) |
Ok... How to get to my journal. Just click on the "friends" list at the top of the community pages. It will take you to the journals of your friends. or click on my name whenever you see it and that takes you to my profile. across from my name will be a link to my journal. when you get to the journal, on the bottom right is a "comment" word that is a link. If you click on it, you can go read the other comments and leave one yourself. If you want to play, the sureest way to get my attention is to leave a message in my journal. I don't mean to overwhelm you or pressure you or anything. It's simply up to you. Personally, I think it's a gr8 way to get involved and meet people and help connect... Anyway... here are those links for the games... http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/13761.html http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/10.html http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/13585.html http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/13623.html regardless, I'm glad you're here & look forward to chatting with you more :) jules |
