Today is my first real day of trying the calorie count diet. I just found the website yesterday and did enter everything with out really trying to cut out anything. I went about 500 calories over the recommended to lose weight which was about 250 over my regular according to the diet. HOWEVER we did eat out for lunch and that meal alone was over. So I have to make a decision to not worry about my friday lunch date with my husband, or find a very calorie friendly meal at resturants, perhaps somewhere in between?
Also this morning when searching for calories of eggs I suddenly realized I dont have to eat what my family eats. It sounds so silly but with 2 small kids I was very worried about the impression I make on them. But I am making healthier choices. So this morning I cooked bacon and puts cheese on their eggs, but I ate plain eggs and no bacon!
This weekend I am going to be on a mission to create a grocery list just for me of low cal. items like cooking spray, butter, mayo the really bad things! We'll see how it goes.
