Today I am starting out brand new. Forget all the past triumphs (i.e. failures) and start over. I will make a new plan. A little from this one and a little from that one. Hopefully this site will bring me closer to my goal. I have found that I am a person who says...I can do this myself, I don't need anyone, but in reality I need support. I do better with encouragement. I am not going to start out trying to be perfect this time, but instead take baby steps. One goal everyday instead of everything all at once. My goal for today is to be honest with myself. Why am I doing this? I would like to say I am doing it for me, but that is not being completely honest either.
So here's a list:
For my husband who loves me no matter what, but I want him to be proud of me just a little more.
For my kids who deserve a mom who can get down in the floor and play and teach them healthy eating habits.
So I won't have to shop in the plus size section and can buy clothes suitable for my age group.
So I can quit avoiding the mirror. I wish it were my friend, not my enemy!
Because I want perfect strangers to whistle when I walk down the street. (I know this one sounds shallow, but I recently had someone MOO at me, so whistling would feel much better:)
I want to feel comfortable in my clothes.
To have more confidence and self esteem.
In order to relax around people...I don't want to feel like the elephant in the room.
To have more energy.
To overcome addiction-to food, especially sweets.
Most of all, I want to PROVE to others and myself that I can do this!!!
Who in the world would moo at you? Thats ridiculous! You can do it! You absolutely can! One day, one hour, one minute, one step, one run, one right food choice at a time you will overcome! |
Not only did he moo, but sang who let the cows out! Hilarious, right? |
That moo'er is a jerk! I would've shaken it at him and told him he didn't know what he was missin'! Any way, I know how you feel. I struggle constantly and daily. How are you doing now? |
