using the log to track your calories
I found a book that I use for eating out that seems to have more selections than this site. It's the 6th edition of The Fat Counter and is paperback. To log your foods you can either click the add to log button and then where it says serving or portion (I don't remember exactly which one it says) put in .25 for 1/4, .5 for half, or if you are real piggy you can multiply your serving (eg 2.5 if you eat an entire bag of popcorn by yourself). The other way to add them, if you can't find the item that you ate, is by adding the information yourself. Click the add it now bar and enter as much info as you can. If you don't have nutrition information then the item will not get a grade but at least you can keep up with the calories. I used to enter all the items for my tossed salads but considering that I eat 2 a day I now just add as tossed salad and that salad's calories. I know that it's an A grade because all the ingredients are A's. Always feel free to ask us questions, too. You can shoot me an email here anytime.
