USMC Wife & Stay at home Mommy! :o)))

Hi, I'm Tiffanie, I'm 24 yrs old.  I'm a very proud USMC wife...my hubby has been in for 8 years and we've been married for 5 of them.  We've been through 2 deployments thus far...the last one I was 6 months pregnant with my daughter when he left and had her while he was still deployed...he finally came home and got to meet her when she was 3 months old...it was wonderful! My son Kyler will be 2 on June 21 and my daughter Alannah is 6 months old...yah 17 months apart...keeps me super busy!  They are my life and my whole world!  I'm 5'8" and currently 185.  I was 175lbs when I got married and in a size 10/12...before babies I got up to 220lbs on fertility drugs due to my PCOS but I lost it while my hubby was deployed the first time.  Now 2 pregnancies later my goal for the end of the year is to get down to 155lbs because that's what is healthy for my height!  I also am preparing to run my first 5k in Sept!!!

congrats on surviving for so long in the usmc! im a proud navy wife. :]

where yall stationed?

He's stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA but we live in Temecula.  Where are ya'll at?

yummy for hot weather. lol.
we're in va. for probably the next 4yrs.

I'm a navy wife and the first deployment I gained, but that's do to the fact I felt alone.  Deployments can be hard, especially when they are for months on end with limited calls (I talked to him five times in six months).  I'm hoping to lose the weight I gained and then some.  My hubby is not due to be deployed until a year for now.  So I better enjoy it. Currently my husband and I are located in Norfolk, VA.

Yah...I love being at Camp Pendleton...we live in Temecula...were going to buy next year...I'm sooo excited!  Yes, deployments are hard...but I've learned that if I just stay positive and not thing negativly about any of it...it's easier on him...and me...and now our babies.  My first deployment I was alone...it was before he had any children...so that was rough...but I learned that I could make it alone...I got a phone call once a month if I was lucky...he was deployed for 7 months...it was really hard on him because he lost 8 friends in one day and he was on convoys constantly...always on the road...the second time wasn't any easier but more managable even though I was 6 months pregnancy and had a 13 month old...LOL!  It kept me busy so that was good!  He was gone for 7 months this last time too...he is getting ready to change units on the 15th to a grunt unit and they deploy for 14 months...so we'll see how that goes...I think I'll be just fine...and were already planning on how to spend the 2 weeks in between...LOL!  We don't have a leave date or anything...but we know he's bound to go to Afghan...

Yeah for me it was hard at first but once I got adjusted it got easier.  But geez 14 months, hopefully you guys can do skype or something.  My cousin who was in the marines in Jibuti was able to go via internet and do live video stream talking.  That was nice for his attached mother. But mine being on a ship last time for six months all I could do was write emails and letters, and a lot of time the ships internet was down so my emails would be sent back to me.  That got annoying after trying to send it for the 4th time.  Well I hope everything goes well for you guys.
