Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe

Makes 24 servings


From Quaker Oats.

Ingredients
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup raisins
Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. Beat together yogurt, applesauce, and sugars until creamy

  3. Add egg, egg whites, and vanilla; beat well

  4. In separate bowl combine flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

  5. Add dry to wet

  6. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well

  7. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreasted cookit sheet

  8. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown

  9. Cool for atleast a minute, and remove to wire racks

  10. BAR COOKIE VARIATION

  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes in an ungreased 13x9 inch metal baking pan
