From Quaker Oats.
| 1/2 | cup milk |
| 1/2 | cup vegetable oil |
| 1/2 | cup applesauce |
| 1/2 | cup brown sugar |
| 1/2 | cup sugar |
| 2 | egg whites |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 | tsp vanilla |
| 3/4 | cup flour |
| 3/4 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1 | tsp baking soda |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 3 | cups old fashioned oats |
| 1 | cup raisins |
- Heat oven to 350
- Beat together yogurt, applesauce, and sugars until creamy
- Add egg, egg whites, and vanilla; beat well
- In separate bowl combine flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add dry to wet
- Stir in oats and raisins, mix well
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreasted cookit sheet
- Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown
- Cool for atleast a minute, and remove to wire racks
- BAR COOKIE VARIATION
- Bake for 30-35 minutes in an ungreased 13x9 inch metal baking pan
