Ok, I am tending to eat more fruit than veg and i really like my veg I just find it difficult to digest and have trouble fitting it in.

Just like to know is can anyone suggest any fruit and veg that go well together that os NOT in a smoothie or juiced, I know it sounds strange :D

I was thinking of maybe something like carrots and grapes.  I'm not a fussy eater by the way lol.  Any suggestions/recipes would be great!  I am willing to eat veg at any meal.

I used to put spinach in my fruit smoothies. Completely tasteless and super nutrional.

Also what about salads (veg based) with fruit on top..like apple wedges or mandarin oranges or strawberries mmmm.

I like psinach saladas with things like grapes, strawberries, cranberries and sometimes pineapple

Thanks guys, they sound great!  Just going to experiment i think.

Does anyone know of any kind of exotic (so to speak) veg like plantain that i can try?

jicama is sort of an 'exotic' vegetable you might like. tastes very fruity. sweet potato is also sweet (duh) and full of vitamins not found in many fruits.

^ yeah! Jícama with pineapple is DELICIOUS :3, here in Mexico its a very popular snack.
i like spinach & a little lettuce with mango :3 yum!

Try mixing strawberries and tomato...sound a little strange but with a tiny bit of olive oil and some lemon juice it tastes awesome..you can add black pepper to it too...

i made a spinach cantaloupe salad with mint the other day:

It was very refreshing and delicious!

Waldorf salads are also a good choice...actually any salad that involves both fruit and salad are pretty good for a veggie/fruit combo

Grapes/raisins also go well in curries, which you can add a variety of veggies to:

I'd like to suggest celery and apples.  I've never eaten them together but IMO I think they would complement each other.  I'd go with a sweet, tart apple like an empire or gala.

Also, both of these taste FABULOUS with peanut butter.  Put a stalk or two of celery, apple slices and a dollop of peanut butter on a plate and go to town! Dip it, spread it, whatever.  Tasty and filling.
