Recipe Ingredients for Vegan Rice Pudding

19/20 oz Indian White Basmati Rice
3 cups Original
1/3 cup Truvia
2 tbsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Vegan Rice Pudding

  1. Cook white rice with water in rice cooker.

  2. When rice is cooked, heat 3 cups of almond milk (or other nondairy milk substitute) on medium heat and add rice.

  3. Once rice and almond milk are at a slow boil, add 1/3 cup truvia, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg.

  4. Finally add vanilla extract as the rice has absorbed half or a bit more of the almond milk.

  5. Bring heat to low and allow the rest of the almond milk to be absorbed so you have a thick, pudding-y texture.

  6. Serve warm or allow to cool and enjoy!
