- "egg" salad sandwich on an ezekiel english muffin

3. Topping of choice for popcorn? Don't eat it

4. Most disastrous recipe/meal failure? soy/gluten free mac and cheese. it tasted like a diaper.

6. How do you organize your recipes? I don't, I just remember them. But i'm thinking of compiling them into some sort of notebook, so when i open up my own vegan restaurant i'll have a head start.

7. Compost, trash, or garbage disposal? trash. i don't have a garbage disposal, and i don't have enough time for a compost.

8. If you were stranded on an island and could only bring 3 foods...what would they be (don't worry about how you'll cook them)? black beans, baked tofu (italian flavor), and avocado.

9. Fondest food memory from your childhood? Every Sunday my family would go to the local store, the book nook, and get dove chocolate bars for a treat. (obviously i wasn't vegan or lactose intolerant then.)

10. Favorite vegan ice cream? SO DELICIOUS anything.

16. Seitan, tofu, or tempeh? Good ole' tofu. I can't have wheat so seitan is out. And tempeh is too chewy for me.

17. Favorite meal to cook (or time of day to cook)? Probably dinner. I like the coziness of it, at night, a nice warm meal.

1. Favorite non-dairy milk? I love all Almond Breeze, especially unsweetened since it's so much healthier.

I'm not sure, I noticed that someone said something about a banana/sweet potato casserole. That sounds great, but I can't find a vegan recipe.

I am waiting on the cookbook Eat, Drink & Be Vegan and will pick a few recipes from there to try.

4. Most disastrous recipe/meal failure? Lasagna, umm brownies.. everything I make is a disaster!

Next time someone says to mix the flour and water first when making brownies, I won't take them literally! The rest of the dry ingredients wouldn't mix in and then when I cooked it there were chunks of dough throughout the pan.


5. Favorite pickled item? I like pickles.

6. How do you organize your recipes? I have a few cookbooks, and I usually just remember the ones I like.

7. Compost, trash, or garbage disposal? We throw our extra food outside for the bunnies and skunks and other wild animals.

4. Most disastrous recipe/meal failure? I tried making eggplant lasagna with bread instead of pasta. Blegh, the bread got all burnt and crispy and so did the eggplant!
