Vegetable Lentil Soup Recipe

Makes 5 servings


A hearty celery soup. Makes 5 1-cup servings. You could easily add more water.

Ingredients
1/2 cup lentils
1 cup chopped onion
20 stalk celery, chopped
2 cups shredded cabbage
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 cups water
3 carrots, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
Directions
  1. Boil lentils till soft.

  2. Cut up veggies and boil with the lentils till done.

  3. Add herbs and spices and enjoy!
