vegetarian... but eating fish??
i've been a vegetarian for about 3yrs... & i've never really eaten fish since i became vegetarian... & now, all of a sudden, i've been craving tuna! i rly dont want to eat fish but is it really a bad thing?
i need some help.
What was the initial reason for why you chose to be vegetarian? I don't think its a bad thing (but I'm probably biased) to crave fish/tuna. I tried to find a good source for you to explain the process of fish harvesting, if you have ethical issues against eating meat, but I could'nt find anything helpful.
Honestly, its not a bad thing to crave it. I mean how many billions of people out there eat ALL meat anyway?? there's nothing about eating it that will kill you (unless you have some weird health problems) so depepnding on why you chose to be a vegetarian it could or could not be a big issue. But I would definitely say its not a bad thing. but that's just my opinion.
i became vegetarian because i dont believe animals should die for our food. so, yeah, ethical reasons. lol
Well, I guess all I can say is that the choice is yours. haha I don't think that really helps but hey, I tried lol
I became a "pescatarian" after reading the book Fast Food Nation. I have always had a love for fish and I knew my body couldn’t go with eating protein; plus the book never touched on fish so I figured that was safe. I have been a Buddhist for years (even before becoming pescatarian) but never realized the harm in eating meat until I stopped. I recently quit smoking - cold turkey – and I must say, it was easier than quitting meat. The only advice I can give is that you have to do what is right for you. If you believe it’s unethical to eat meat, including fish, then you shouldn’t eat it. good luck to you
