When they say veggie delite from Subway do they mean just the bread and veggies or veggies with cheese?

Also any clue as to how many calories I would be taking in for a 6 in. sub with just veggies and the fat free honey mustard (love that stuff) on a wheat roll?

its on the subway website-- nutritional info for everything they have.

the cals for the veggie might be higher than you are expecting.. but its because you can't escape the cals for the bread no matter what goes inside! i think its somewhere between 250-300 if i remember right!

i believe a plain veggie sub 6 inch is 230 calories. all condiments (mayo, oil, etc... and cheese need to be factored in)

The nutritional info on the site is without condiments or cheese. The american cheese slices come to 40 calories a slice, I believe.

plus keep in mind that you'll probably have to at least double the calories for the honey mustard because kids at subway know nothing about moderation! (I know, I used to work at one!) Plus it depends on which veggies you get, and how much of that they put on it, and if you really get 6" of bread, could be 8, could be 4". It should have all of the info on the subway website though.

*grin*  Yeah, if you want the proper serving size, you have to tell them "just put a tiny little bit of such-and-such sauce".  Then they'll give you the 2 tbsp. or whatever it is the serving size is supposed to be. 

I get the 6 inch ham no cheese, with lettuce,onion,cucumber,pickle,banana peppers and its comes to 290 calories. They have the packets of the light mayo and fat free Italian dressing so you know just how much your putting on and not guessing what they put on for you. (Which is a few extra calories)

And its so yummy and satisfying if you're out and about and in a pinch and need to eat fast foods.

Its 230 with lettuce mustard tomato onion pickle and peppers...

 

5 whole black olives=25 cals


2 cheese triangles=40 cal
