I don't know if it has anything to how I'm eating but for the past 2 days, everytime I'm standing with my hands facing down, My veins puff up.  Not only do they puff up but it seems like all my blood flows straight to my hands and they feel heavy.  Then when I pick up my arms, thank goodness, the veins immediately go down.  I have no idea what is going on.  Like right now that I'm typing this my hands are downwardish and my veins are getting puffy.

Speaking from experience, I strongly suggest visiting a doctor. You have stated that you were undereating for awhile. What are your stats?

Well I weigh around 125, I'm 5'4", but I have scoliosis on the severe moderate mark, so I probably am an inch taller, because scoliosis makes you shorter.  I think I'm not undereating anymore.  I've been eating a lot lately, trying to get healthy.  What was your experiece?  You said speaking from experience.

So please help me!

I'd say that's pretty normal.  That happens to me, my family, friends ,etc.

I get the same sort of thing. I know if you're underweight/have a very low body fat percentage, your veins tend to stick out more just because there's no layer of fat to cover them...that's what mine do. :c I can also see my pulse in my major veins, like my stomach and my legs. I'm pretty sure it's just from being underweight.

yes but lets clarify, being underweight is NOT a good thing.

do you like that your veins show?

Its not that my veins show, its just that my blood rushes and they get red and heavy and they thicken when down, its like my blood flows right to my hands.

Technically speaking, gravity works.  If you hold one hand down at your side and the other up over your head and wait 30-60 seconds then look at your hands, the one that was down will be redder and the one that was up will be whiter.  You might have a circulation problem or something similar if you actually feel it "rushing" with gravity.  But seriously, in general, blood rushing to wherever "down" is, is normal.

I think this is pretty normal. In fact, I've seen very few people whose veins don't puff up.

Okey dokey =)
