everyday one of my co-workers tells me that he is JEALOUS becacuse I am getting slim and he can't lose weight.

everyday he used to say:" you are losing weight and I am jealous".

Now, I have gained weight because of recent binges and he started a diet and lost 25 pounds..

I just don't understand why some people don't wish you good luck.

I am also embarrassed to go to work:(

maybe, just maybe, you could take the initiative and let him know that you have noticed his weight loss and think that it is great that he, like you, is starting to pay attention to his health

then maybe offer to be his "health buddy" (corny, but i can't find other words to describe it..)

Some people can't be happy for others.  It sucks to be around them.

When you need encouragement and some positivity - come here.

Also - it's a-ok to lag behind.  Just make today the day you start fresh! You can totally do it!

Thanks guys. I just hate it because he is making a progress and I am not:(  also he didn't wish me good luck in the  first place.
You can do this safina. You have done it before and can do it again. You already know the tools. I just don't understand why some people can't just say good luck instead of being jealous. But you must have been an inspiration to him and now you can be an inspiration to yourself again and know that you can get back on track and do this.

Safina ... some people just don't know how to be polite, positive, encouraging.

Just get back on track, stick with us for motivation ... and you can DO this!!!!

=^..^= MOLLY

Be the bigger man (err, not literally). Tell him he's doing a great job, and that now you guys can slim down together :)
ok ladies. Many thanks. Can I just eat the lasagna that I just bought for dinner tonight?)

see. this is my problem since I have started binging. everyday, i say tomorrow I will count. Let me enjoy this and that.

:(
Thanks Sarah but I will never talk to that guy again. he is mean. All of them. I am binging because I wanted to get another job and I didn't get the offer. I wanted out of this place.:(
So you didn't get the offer you wanted...there will be other opportunities and offers from other companies.  Don't binge because of them, stop binging despite them.  You can do it and as you feel healthier you'll be better equipped to pursue the other opportunities that come up.

Safina- Take a deep breath, and imagine your slimmer, healthier self.  Take one meal at a time, and know that you can make this happen. If you have a bad day, just get up the next morning and try to be more under control than the day before.

He was jealous and he started losing because of your example. You INSPIRED him. We have a hard time encouraging each other when we start gaining because of shame - it's too bad he doesn't know how to reach out and support you, but you've got CC to support ya.

We've got your back. Take it one day at a time, take good care of yourself, and forget about him.

Work stuff can be really hard! Try not to take it out on yourself. Good luck! There are other jobs out there (it doesn't always feel like it, I know). Keep trying.

Might I just say (as an experienced individual..LOL) tomorrow never comes girlfriend....YOU however will quite simply become heavier and heavier, bigger and bigger! So...on that note....does that binge really satisfy? Try focusing that frustration on becoming a health nut...on educating yourself on nutrition, on learning to cook/eat to live...not living to eat!..on exercising everyday to become a slimmer, happier you? It works..I am down 81lb in 8 months...Just a thought.

Bejthin: yes, I know tomorrow never comes and I became heavier... it is a mistake that I have made and I am trying to deak with it but I guess I am back to normal today.

thanks for the tip.
