Pounds versus inches lost

I wonder if anyone else loses like I do?

I have been dieting and going to Curves for 3 1/2 months.  I have lost 18 pounds and only 13 inches.  Everyone else at Curves (where everyones results are posted monthly) who have lost 13 inches have only lost 6 - 8 pounds and those who have lost around the same number of pounds have lost 25 - 32 inches.   My body fat has gone down 2% and BMI 3%.

In addition to Curves 5 times a week I use my Gazelle and stationary bike approximately 30 minutes daily.

I am happy about the weight loss but would really like to see more inches come off.   Any suggestions?

I don't know how Curves works but it sounds like you are doing a lot of cardio (which I love to do).  But strength training helps you get a nice toned body.  I would recommend yoga or any instructional videos  that have dancer stretching (I have one called ballet conditioning) which will take off inches and give you lean muscle mass.  Feel free to message me if you have any questions!
