What are your vice foods?

Quote  |  Reply
I have some foods that I haven't really been eating that much since dieting that when I think about (this is kind of weird, brace yourself), I just envision myself on this giant planet made entirely of that substance where I could eat endless amounts for eternity and just be happy and fulfilled. Haha, sometimes I just love to picture the perpetual binge and how wonderful it would be. (Not to say I don't love the healthy foods I do eat! I just get strange visuals once in a while.)

Foods that are just so good you wish you could subsist entirely off them and nothing else:

Examples:
*Cheesecake.
*Cheese in general. Oh man.
*Bananas (I do eat these a lot, but sometimes I wish I could eat like, 700 a day)
*Chocolate, of course
*Sourdough bread
*Reeses Peanut Butter anything

Yum. What are yours?

  • Some nice soft bread
  • Cheesecake, chocolate fudge brownies, coconut macaroons, lemon drizzle cake, victoria sponge, angel cake, Jamaica ginger cake...you get the idea!
  • Peanut butter and jam sandwiches
  • Ben & Jerry's
  • Nutella (in a BIG way)
  • Cadbury's Dairy Milk
  • Most cereals that are way too sugary to fit into my diet these days
  • Pasta and rice dishes (gniocci, carbonara, curry)
  • Pizza
Wow I realised I could go on for a very long time, but I'd better stop there and have my healthy breakfast of porridge and sunflower seeds *cries a little inside*
I LOVE your 'binge planet' fantasy! Where I work there are these chocolate sundaes that are something like 800 calories each, and they're not even very big. I've never eaten one... But sometimes I imagine for some reason my house has been entirely submerged in them, like a massive chocolatey snowdrift, and I have literally NO CHOICE but to eat my way out. The other foods I wish I could eat for hours are mostly M&Ms, Kinder Chocolate and really smelly gooey French cheese.
  • Chocolate-Raspberry Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
  • Pizza from my local pizza place
  • Chik Fil' A Chicken Nuggets
  • General Tso's Chicken from Mark Pi's
  • My Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cake
  • Cherry Chip Cake
  • Max & Erma's French Fries
  • Cold Stone Ice Cream
  • Coffee Cake
  • Starbucks' Pumpkin Bread and Blueberry Coffee Cake
  • Stuffing...or Dressing
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • "Cake" Cookies
  • Peperidge Farms "Bells and Stars" Christmas Cookies...
  • My Grandma's French Toast
  • Starbucks' Mochas
  • Bennihanna's Hibachi Chicken
  • Fried Rice
  • TACOS!
  • Chips & Salsa from Chili's
  • Lay's Barbequed Potato Chips
  • Sour Cream & Onion Pringles
  • Cheeze It's...how I love thee...
  • Peperridge Farm 'Cinnamon Brown Sugar' Toasting Bread
  • Spaghetti with MEAT
  • Muffins from My Favorite Muffin
  • Grilled Cheese
  • Hamburgers, except fast food
  • Chicken Enchiladas
  • POUND CAKE... o_O
Wow, this is messed up. And to think...this is how I really used to eat; wow, just, wow.
Good topic! My imaginary food world would be comprised of:

  • Buildings of cheesecake! My heavens... so much of it!
  • Fountains of milk & dark chocolate
  • Sidewalks of dark chocolate, roads of milk chocolate
  • Trees of cookies (the younger ones would be cookie dough), with nuts hanging off of them
  • Rivers would be full of nutella
  • Lakes would be full of peanut butter
  • When it snowed, it would snow an ice-cream sundae (thanks, hana_rose_j!), complete with all the toppings @ the very end--basically, your favourite Cold Stone concoction would end up all over your house.
  • It would rain hot chocolate and hail would be chocolate chips & marshmallows. Sometimes it would rain a mocha.
  • People would drive around fruit- giant apples, & strawberries.
  • Bridges would be make of cake. PERFECT cake. Moist, with tons of icing.
  • Furniture would be breads--like banana, ginger and pumpkin bread, in addition to all the other good kinds. You'd sit on a muffin, sleep on a loaf, etc. YUM
  • Cyclones would be giant tubes of whipped cream, that would just spread across the land. The only way to repair cyclone damage would be to eat it's leftovers, of course.
  • Normal food would be the best of all my faves--Thai, Indian, Italian and all other yummies
  • Store mannequins would be gingerbread men & women
Annnd everyone in my imaginary world gets a government-supplied cutlery set and free license to eat whatever they want because you can't get full and nothing has ANY calories! And everything re-generates.

I'm going to be thinking about this imaginary world for the rest of the week, now...
Torli, I'm moving to your world! I want that free no-calorie lisence! Ahh...I'd pray for rain, hail, and snow everyday, and I'd be MUCH more willing to go swimming in lakes then! Although, "swimming" through peanut butter might prove to be pretty difficult, but it'd be worth it I'm sure; I'd eat my way through. But I'd probobly end up eating my cheesecake house and my furniture, and well, pretty much everything else. Haha. ^-^

*French fries

*Good, high quality, expensive, dark chocolate

*Pecan pie

*Tres leches cake

*Chips and salsa con queso

*Butter pecan ice cream

*Butterscotch pudding

*gingerbread anything

*Fritos

*Samoas Girl Scout cookies

*Really good cheese (like artisan brie. goat cheese, and bleu)

*gigantic ripe strawberries, apples, and bananas

*sweet potatoe and hashbrown casseroles

*various selections of Starbuck's frappacinos and lattes

Geez - this could be a really long list, and what's above are more representative of what I've been craving lately.  Although, in any list, french fries would always be the top item.

cheese (any)

cheesecake

white chocolate macadamia nut cookies made with real butter

Nachos with lots of sharp cheddar

Perugian chocolate

B&J's coffee heath bar crunch

Why did someone have to mention cheesecake anyway? My mouth is watering now!

  • bacon cheeseburgers with mayo
  • charcoal grilled polish sausage
  • mayo salads of any kind
  • Pizza with extra cheese
  • ice cream with the maximum amount of butterfat
  • French Fries of any kind
  • potato chips and full fat dip
  • melted cheese on anything
  • taco meat/cheese/sour cream on any kind of shell

Making this list makes me realize how horrid my diet was....lol

Some vices from my "previous" life...

  • Huge, heaping plates of Japanese hibachi food (ex. grilled beef in tons of oil, fried rice with egg and butter, etc.)
  • Huge slice of red velvet cake with cream cheese icing
  • Huge slice of hummingbird cake
  • Homemade cake frosting right out of the bowl (OMG! Pure Crisco, what was I thinking??!)
  • Giant sub sandwiches with lots of mayo, salami, and cheese
  • Bowls and bowls of sugary cereals - Frosted Flakes, Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Cruch, Rice Krispie Treat cereal, nutty granola cereal, Trix, Golden Grahams, Reese's PB cups... oh man, I could go on.
  • Philly Cheesesteaks with mayo
  • Thick banana shakes made with full-fat ice cream
Mmm, now I'm hungry.  These are just some of the things that I greatly miss that would exist in my fantasy world.  I know that now I can incorporate them in moderation, meaning in small portions and every once in a GREAT while.  But still, I yearn...

I always say that if ever I was stuck on a desert island my staples would be peanut butter, chocolate, cheese, and wine.  This has nothing to do with survival, or quantity limits, its just about fantasy!

Let me just say the creativity in this thread is awesome!  I love reading these posts because its like an imaginary smorgasbord and honestly? Its comforting.  Tear.
Cheesecake (my favorite)

chocolate cake (any kind)

brownies

PB J sandwiches

fettucini pasta, rice (white)

butter

mac cheese

pork ribs with barbacue sauce

hot wings

french fries

KFC, Mc donalds, arbys, Wendys (any burguer or junk food there)

oh yeahhhhh.......
I FORGOT muffins and scones. I want a scone planet. YUMMMM
OMG, muffins!! How could I forget?!  Huge, soft, moist banana muffins with walnuts... Ah, the days when that used to be my breakfast.
