My virtual model
I just made one of these for the first time and the one at 240lbs (my cw) seems acurate, but the one at my goal weight seems wayy too thin (170lbs)......is it just cuz I can never imagine myself like that or does it seem unusually thin for 170 lbs ( I am 19 and 5'8) the pics are on my gallery.
Edited to explain where the pics are.
....170lbs looks great!
I think at my current weight its pretty acurate but my goal weight seems unusually small for 170 lbs...ill have 2 take a pic of my real body to compare i guess.
I think they look pretty good. Seems pretty realistic to me for your goal weight.
I have a question. Where did you get the virtual model made. I really want to make one to see what I will look like at my goal weight. I am only 5 feet tall and have about 50 lbs to lose.
You're doing great there. Keep at it and you will surely reach your goal weight. And, the plus is you are learning good eating habits that can last you a lifetime.
A few months ago I would have thought there is no way that is what 170 looks like. I was over 200, I'm 5'8 & I just hit 180 and I think that is not that inaccurate. Luckily when you're tall you can look good at a bigger weight. However it does depend on your body type and muscle tone. I weighed this same weight a few years ago and the clothes that just fit then are too big now. Good luck.
I got it at www.mvm.com
I went to the site and created a virtual me, its in my gallery. I think thats about the right size. I know I dont look that good in a bikini but I've had to kids via c-section and I dont work out enough lol. Just use that as encouragment. You will love how you look when you get there.
I think that part of the reason you think the 170 lb model looks too skinny compared to the other one is because of the difference in the faces. For a lot of people, one of the first places you lose weight is in the face, and that in itself makes a huge difference in making a person look skinnier
It does look thinner than my current one at 150 lbs... However, you are probably taller than I am, so 170 will look great. :)
One thing to keep in mind with these, though, is that they don't actually take the exact weight you put in and calculate the model's exact measurements. Instead, they have like levels or something. I noticed that when I put in 170 and 160 (or something like that--it's been a while), they looked exactly the same. Then, I put in 150, and suddenly the model was *much* skinnier. So if 170 on your model is right after the cutoff point for a certain level, the model may actually look skinnier than she should.
Those models have no bumps or trouble areas. They are very proportionate and the average person is not. If everyone lost weight like that graphic then we could all be plus sized models...it just isn't like that in real life.
