I am going to make myself a vow to become a healthier person. I'm going to start transforming my body, my eating and exercising habbits. I'm going to lose weight, I'm going to do it this time. I'm going to make these changes and I'm going to stick with it, If I break my vow I will only be cheating and letting myself down. I will become a better me!

I'd like a vowel, too. I'd like to buy an A, please.

Sorry I suck at spelling...I changed it though...Yet another thing I need to work on.

You can do it darling! Just remember, if you fall off the wagon, there's no reason to give up. Just start back up the next day. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Sweeping vows are all well and good, but the best thing to do is pick one thing that you want to change, and work on that until it becomes a habit.  Trying to fix everything at once will leave you feeling overwhelmed.  You might try cutting out junk food first, or incorporating half an hour of exercise into your daily routine.  Baby steps seem frustrating when you are fired up to change everything NOW.  But you will make far more progress with slow and steady than you will by taking a few giant steps and then giving up because you can't maintain the pace you have set for yourself. Remember --you didn't get this way overnight, and it will take time to achieve your goals.  You can do it!

I know I can't do everything at once or overnight, and I am taking small steps at a time. I just want to say to myself that I can do it this time and it's not gonna be like all the other times in the past. My first and probably the biggest step for m is cutting the fast food...I'm doing good so far but it sure is tempting.

They say it's best to make large, drastic changes all of the sudden, as opposed to small incremental steps. That's how I did it. I quit smoking, drinking soda, and lost weight all at once. Line in the sand. Now or never. That's the way to do it.
