Wahoo, I hit a 100 pound milestone!!
Yes!! I have acheived my first major goal, I reached 101 pounds lost. I only have 30-40 more pounds to go depending.
If you are starting out and have doubts about whether you can do this or not, know that it is possible. It takes commitment and a lot of self forgiveness. It's not impossible, but only YOU can do it. Take responsibilty for yourself and your actions and just do it. Go into it knowing you will stumble along the way and remember to always learn from those mistakes. Sometimes you make the same mistake over and over, keep picking yourself up and keep trying. Make friends, they will help you pick back up. And you can help pick them back up when they fall.
Sure, it is easier to just give up but that is just a waste of time, time you could be using to keep going. Time you could be using to enjoy life instead of being worried about your restrictions and what you can't do. JUST DO IT!!
And remember, it only takes one small step to get you started. Fast is good sometimes but slow and steady is better IMHO. Slow and steady helps you appreciate every step achieved. Slow and steady helps you actually master each step. Each step brings you closer to goal. My goal is maintanence. My goal is doing this for life as second nature. Mastering each step one step at a time makes that happen for me. Do what works for you. If you don't know what that is, take your first step and see where it takes you. You may just surprise yourself. I know I have.
You are cordially invited to check out my progress pics in my gallery.

It really does. I feel stronger than ever. I've been considering doing a rock climbing wall very soon and I'm looking forward to doing races. I did one last week and anticipate more to come. :D I never thought either would've/could've been on my agenda
Thanks everyone!!![]()
