I'm a PSW and work in a nursing home, and HATE it :(

So now I'm taking a free collage course and hoping to get out of cleaning up adult ****. And make way more money!

I do homedaycare.  Its pretty good and keeps me home with my 3 kids!!  Before that I did dental assisting!

I also live in T.O.!!
Right now I'm a stay-at-home-bum.  I got fired from my job in October as a kitchen prep.  I specialise in three areas.

Kitchen work.  I prefer bakery, and have the most experience in that.  I make amasing breads and some pretty nifty cakes.  I got my cake arts certificate when I was thirteen, the youngest to ever take the class.

Seamstressing.  I've made custom garments for the locals and have designed, drafted the patterns for, and sewn garments for various internet stores.  My elaborate jackets and corsets were what I was most known for.  I've also worked in medical seamstressing, making the garments that you often see vascular support patients or burn victims wearing.

Phlebotomy.  Okay, okay, I don't really specialise in it, but it is what I most recently went to school for, graduated at the top of my class, got the best review of any student in my class at my clinical location, and have been wanting to do since I was five years old and called it a blood sucker.  I'm harassing every hospital within fifty miles to hire me.
I teach at an elementary school. Before that I was a legal secretary, and I was in the Army. Right now I'm still going to school, I should be done next Dec.   I love teaching, and working with the kids.

i package delicious goods in boxes at a bakery

itsucksss:(

Also not that happy with my current job. I work for a woman who does cat and dog boarding in her home, as well as grooming. The grooming is ok, at least I've never done it before so it's interesting (I don't get to do haircuts though [yet?]). My last 2 jobs have been in this field too (vet assistant, dog attendant), and while I do love animals, I'm so sick of these jobs! Now if I could just decide what career I would like, I could go to school and do something better.
I work in telecommunications, just got a new job within my company which i start in January i think, I love it, It was only supposed to be temp job during my gap year before going to uni, but i loved it too much i didn't end up going to uni.
I have the best job in the world!  I'm a retired USAF air traffic controller, but now I work as a Surveillance Operator at a Native American Casino.  I watch closed circuit/surveillance cameras watching for "bad" things in our casino.  Things like cheating attempts, theft, poor behavior, drugs, wrong payouts by dealers, etc.  It's an awesome job!  I really wish I could have found this job years ago.

I'm not specifically working but I'm (even though I'm already 22yrs) a homestudent, I teach myself (possible in germany) and a musician.

The musician part is great but nothing to make a living from and the student part is great too (since I love studying) but nooooo money at all.

I'm a student and a Critical Care Tech in a trauma center in a local hospital.  I also am a health unit coordinator- which is a fancy name for a clerk/secretary- in the same place.  I hope to soon be in nursing school so i can clean up poo for twice the pay! :)
I work in the sales and techincal department for a nationwide Jeep parts company =)

My title is Lead System Engineer ;)

It sounds so cool but it's booooooring.

I had an awesome job as a park naturalist over the summer, sadly it was only a seasonal internship. I got to lead nature hikes, create park programs, play with wildlife, catch snakes, paint, weave, clip sheep hooves, read about all sorts of science stuff, weed eat, eat weeds, and everybody’s favorite drive the gator. Now I am trying to get on full time but it’s a long process.

What ever you do its so much easer when you work with good people and believe in what you do. Which is why I don’t do turf ;).

I'm a graphic designer...currently designing my unemployed days.

Since October 2005, I've been a happy housewife. Smile

Prior to that, I worked 12 years as a trial attorney specializing in civil rights matters, police misconduct, employment discrimination, and complex torts ... all on the defense side.

I may or may not get a part-time, non-legal job in 2008.

=^..^= MOLLY

I'm a retired purchasing agent.  I worked for a large industrial company for many years.  I was good at my job, and didn't dread going in every day, but I don't miss it one little bit.  I don't miss the people and I don't miss spending all my time sitting in an office chair dealing with business.  I love retirement!
I am the Assoc. Registrar of the college I work at.  I am also an adjunct professor for business.
I am in marketing. I have a BA in English/Journalism. I did traditional communications (writing/editing/publishing print publications) for a while and then moved into a job that is more marketing & communications & sales. I love it!!! It's something different every day.

The pay is pretty good. If you PM me I can give you details on what I make and how you can get into it. If it's interesting to you :)

I have a lot of respect for people who care for other people -- whether it's babies, kids, adults, special needs, elderly, etc. While I respect the work I don't think I could handle it though.

Amy
I'm an RN in a newborn nursery. I love my job so much! I get to attend deliveries and do resucitative newborn care right after, I get to make sure they all eat, get changed, rock them, basically play with babies at work! :)
