waht do you do for a living?
So now I'm taking a free collage course and hoping to get out of cleaning up adult ****. And make way more money!
I also live in T.O.!!
Kitchen work. I prefer bakery, and have the most experience in that. I make amasing breads and some pretty nifty cakes. I got my cake arts certificate when I was thirteen, the youngest to ever take the class.
Seamstressing. I've made custom garments for the locals and have designed, drafted the patterns for, and sewn garments for various internet stores. My elaborate jackets and corsets were what I was most known for. I've also worked in medical seamstressing, making the garments that you often see vascular support patients or burn victims wearing.
Phlebotomy. Okay, okay, I don't really specialise in it, but it is what I most recently went to school for, graduated at the top of my class, got the best review of any student in my class at my clinical location, and have been wanting to do since I was five years old and called it a blood sucker. I'm harassing every hospital within fifty miles to hire me.
i package delicious goods in boxes at a bakery
itsucksss:(
I'm not specifically working but I'm (even though I'm already 22yrs) a homestudent, I teach myself (possible in germany) and a musician.
The musician part is great but nothing to make a living from and the student part is great too (since I love studying) but nooooo money at all.
My title is Lead System Engineer ;)
It sounds so cool but it's booooooring.
I had an awesome job as a park naturalist over the summer, sadly it was only a seasonal internship. I got to lead nature hikes, create park programs, play with wildlife, catch snakes, paint, weave, clip sheep hooves, read about all sorts of science stuff, weed eat, eat weeds, and everybody’s favorite drive the gator. Now I am trying to get on full time but it’s a long process.
What ever you do its so much easer when you work with good people and believe in what you do. Which is why I don’t do turf ;).[=
Since October 2005, I've been a happy housewife. ![]()
Prior to that, I worked 12 years as a trial attorney specializing in civil rights matters, police misconduct, employment discrimination, and complex torts ... all on the defense side.
I may or may not get a part-time, non-legal job in 2008.
=^..^= MOLLY
The pay is pretty good. If you PM me I can give you details on what I make and how you can get into it. If it's interesting to you :)
I have a lot of respect for people who care for other people -- whether it's babies, kids, adults, special needs, elderly, etc. While I respect the work I don't think I could handle it though.
