What is your waist size?
Mine is 26 inches. I'm 5'8 and 19. I feel like this is a bit on the chubby side, but then again I would never want to have a 22 inch waist.
What is yours? Are you happy with it?
27.5 in
it's okay. get's the job done
It was 23" at my lowest weight. It's now 24ish I believe. I'm lollipop" shaped and carry most of my weight in my middle and have long thin legs :(
31" for now. I'm not happy with it, mainly because my bust is 34" so I look a bit boxy, masculine, lacking in curves, etc.
27 inches and I'm only 5'2". I just, just sneak into the 0.7 ratio range and would love to have tiny waist. But my BMI is around 20 so it looks like I just have to accept that I will never have an hourglass figure.
OP: as someone who has struggled with eating disorders, I don't think this is healthy for you to be posting about.
i'm 5'2, 21 and have a 29'' waist. i like my waist size, but i do want to get down to atleast 27'' so i can fit into a couple pairs of pants/dresses that i like ^^ lol

usually i'd be like "don't drag her personal life into this" but honestly, these topics are kind of pointless and a bit triggering. and between 'what size are you' and 'whats your bmi', idk, could someone explain the logic behind it?
Mine is 24 inches. I am 5'4", 119.8 lbs, 15 yr old female. I'm still trying to reveal the abs underneath that thin layer of fate but hey, it gets the job done. MUCH better than the 28.5" waist I had 16 pounds ago.
I'm your height but 20 years older and mine is 25" and now you have me thinking thats "chubby". Maybe it is a little but I tend to be critical.
Well at least I'm trying....
sfred: No no no, 25 is not chubby and honestly neither is 26. It's a proven fact that all women overestimate their size by ten-fifteen pounds! So no matter how chunky or fat you think you are, you have to keep telling yourself that it's just your imagination!
Also, it is a bit worrying to hear someone who used to struggle with eating disorders complain about size. But I think it's also good to get other opinions on the subject, and others' measurments as something you can measure up against so you know that it's just that little bit of anorexia that's left in the back of your mind telling you that 26 inches is far too big. For me, it's comforting to know that there are other girls who are my size or smaller and still feel the same anxiety about it, it makes me feel a bit more normal
This is crazy....I have lost 39lbs since January, yet I have not lost 1 single inch from my waist.....my bust and hips, however, have lost several inches each.....I know you can't spot target certain areas, but isn't there ANYTHING??? I run on the treadmill and I've incorporated lots of fruits and veggies that I didn't have in my diet before...to see some people lost 16lbs and several inches and I have nothing....grrr. Downer for the day.... LOL
hah.. I'm 5'3" and my waist is nowhere close to 26 inches. It's currently 28, and even at what I consider to be my ideal weight, it was 27 inches. I have a more athletic figure, and I've come to accept that.
Sorry, but you're not "chubby" with a 26" waist. I've always been thick-waisted so mine is 29 1/2 and I'm 5'8" and 134 lbs. I don't think I'm chubby and don't look it. I don't think my genetics would allow me to ever have a 26" waist.
26.5 in, I sort of thought mine was big...
I feel better now :)
mine is down to 25'' from around 29''. i never even wanted to lose inches from my waist, its my thighs that i want to shrink, but ill take what i can get.

No offense, I rather disagree- my 26 inches now feels rather huge.... I'd rather not feel the anxiety at all...
I used to have a 32" waist - I'm an apple shape so that was the biggest part of me. Now, it's 24" :) very happy with it indeed!
Wow this thread is a downer. I didn't realize that 32 at BMI 21 was so awful. I'm 5'7"
once again it also varies on your height, if your 5' tall maybe 26'' does seems kind of big but at 5'8 26'' is not big.
I agree with paradise mine is 30
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
