Mine is 26 inches. I'm 5'8 and 19. I feel like this is a bit on the chubby side, but then again I would never want to have a 22 inch waist.

What is yours? Are you happy with it?

I'm 5'3" with a 27.5 waist.

The lowest I've had as an "adult" was 26.5. I think it's too big, but that's just how my body is shaped. Unfortunately, I'm most decidedly a rectangle even at a healthy weight.

I don't know if I'm doing this right. I have a pretty small waist (appearance wise) but I've never measured my natural waist. Is pant size the same as waist size, because I'm a 24 jean size, but that sits at my hips...?

Ok, this is so weird, girls- I doubt anybody is chubby w/ a 26 inch waist!! I have a 24.5 and im a size 0! So i highly doubt your waists are "chubby". seriously, explain this to me! lol

But anyways, no i am not happy with my 24.5. Maybe 22? That's my goal for now :)

my waist now is 21 inches, but that's just kinda gross...

when i was healthy it was about 24-25 inches, i'd like to get back to that, but maybe a little more toned ;)

wow 21! that's crazy! you think it's gross? why is it gross? i think it'd be beautiful!

if you want it more toned, do "planks" and other types of abdomen toning exercises like that..

i have a 25 inch waist....im 5 foot1

She probably thinks it's gross because she's a recovering anorexic, and 21 is really sickly tiny.

With a screen name like anavalentina, what do you expect?

CC has a policy AGAINST pro-anorexic postage by the way. You are bordering on that with the encouragement of remaining at an obviously unhealthy place.

I havent measured recently, but thanks for the reminder! I will do it as soon as I get home!

I did try on a pair of jeans the other day that were a 29... and kinda too big so I'll guess im a 27. Hope im not dissapointed later! lol

what a horrible thing to say to a recovering anorexic that is showing signs of a "normal" body image. what a way to bring someone down. do you even care? i hope she didn't take it to heart. you really need to think before you speak.

Well I fit a 28 jean... I think that's the lowest men's jeans go. I used to be a 32. xO

I think sometimes people forget that Ana is a legit girl's name, not just a personification of anorexia.

True. But given her commentary, it was a logical deduction.

Jeez, where are the male YCCs? I'm 5'9", 163lbs, age 20 and 31inch waist.

I'm not afraid of a female laden forum ;)

Ugh...I guess I'm just built flat flat flat. I'm 5' 2" and I have a 26 inch waist on a good day. It doesn't look BIG per say, but I don't have a nice little waist. I am, however, developing a 4-pack. I wear size 2 pants, so...I'm not too fussed.

This is all pathetic.  Really.  There is not a single person who has posted on here so far who is really overweight.   All of you have small waists that many people would kill to have!  You really dont know how lucky you are.  Also, all of you who wear a tiny size  who are all "i look chubby and want to be a size 0" or whatever are extremely unhealthy and while you think comparing yourselves to people who arent as skinny as you  may help your self confidence or get you motivated, you are wrong, comparing yourself to other people like this is only going to make you feel worse about your self.

It doesnt matter what size you wear as long as you are comfortable and happy with yourselfand your body.  I havent looked at a scale in three weeks but I've been doing intense training and eating pretty healthily and I feel great at the moment, better than ive felt in a long time.  Also, the pounds you all are trying to lose are vanity pounds, and just remember, even if you fall into the overweight category (like I do) on a BMI scale, that doesnt neccesarily mean that you are overweight.  I know for a fact that I'm not overweight yet my BMI says I am.  This is because those scales rely solely on weight, not body composition and muscle weighs more than fat.

So, just think about that when you weigh yourself in the morning or whatever, losing weight should just be for yourself, and the size of your waist is a pretty small thing to be worrying over, especially when all of you already have a tiny waist.

epurcell1976, who said this forum was for overweight people only? Not all of us are lucky either. I have to work to keep my waist size down. Everyone compares themselves to others in everyday life, not doing it online isn't going to change anything. I do agree some people on here seem unhealthy with their views of themselves.

You are right, it shoudn't matter what size you are. As long as you are comfortable and healthy.
