Anybody know some good excersizes to whittle your waist? I do at home excersizes and all I have right now is an excersize bike and two 5lb weights. I do leg lifts, scrunches, back kicks, side to side stretches...not sure if these have a technical name in the excersize world. Also my sister needs an excersize for the flab hanging under her arm, with 5lbs weights. What direction etc should she be doing in order to target that spot? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anybody is interested...in our area(Long Island, NY) we have the cable provider Cablevision aka Optimum or IOTV and in the free on demand section there are quite a few fitness videos that are totally free. They have different levels of fitness and there is a substantial selection. So if anybody lives in the area of Cablevision cuz I'm not sure which part of the US they do provide service to, these videos are right at your fingertips.

Spot reduction is a myth... but you can do sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, and other ab-focused exercises to help strengthen your abdominal muscles. Then when you do eventually burn the fat down on your entire body, your abs will be ready to shine!
I've been doing ab-focused cardio 3x/week for 7-8 months now. My abs are strong now, my weight is melting away, and I'm starting to see "muscle dimples" on my belly! w00t!
for the arm flab: holding your five pound weights together raise your arms over your head and lower them behind your neck. this works your tricep, look it up online, in a fitness vid, or with an instructor before trying it so you get the form right. also doing dips on a chair help. I like the 8 minute workout dvd series, check it out.
