Anyone starting or if anyone has a a great work out to share I would appreciate it. I use to walk before my son was born but its been awhile and I need to get in shape. I found I can still walk a fast hour but I dont want to hurt myself either. Any suggestions?

When I started exercising I would walk for an hour at a comfortable speed and then I worked up to a little faster. If I walk briskly I only walk for 30 minutes. I've lost 22 pounds and three sizes. Just start at a pace you are comfortable and work up. Good luck!!
I too just walked to start out and lost alot of weight.  Get a good pair of shoes and stroller and have at it.

Walking is one of the best ways to burn a little fat and to tone up. I dont walk for excercise persay, but I started walking absolutely everywhere such as the grocery store, for a coffee... Just alot of pointless but enjoyable walking as well. I've gotten much slimmer and a friend of mine swears by walking as his way to stay as small as he is with his kind of unhealthy lifestyle.
during winter when days are heavy rain instead of walking I start to do steps aerobic ,it burns double calories than walking do,you can use the steps to do some body weight resistanse as leg extensions and lunges mixed  with some set-upswhenever you have 10 min while your baby is sleeping .and minutes add up,it is not boring like treadmil because you can create your own steps ,there is a site you can learn some steps www.fitstep.com
