Bread recipe for the bread machine Great for breakfast & doesnt need any toppings as very dense & moist

Recipe Ingredients for Walnut & Apricot Bread

4 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
1 cup dried apricots, chopped
2 tbsp walnut oil
4 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp dried yeast
1 1/2 tbsp salt
2 1/2 tbsp dried skim milk powder
3 tbsp poppy seeds
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp milk

Recipe Directions for Walnut & Apricot Bread

  1. Follow usual bread machine directions:

  2. All wet ingredients first

  3. Then flour

  4. secret tip - I grind up about 0.5 cups of the walnuts to a meal & then add at the same time as the flour

  5. Then yeast

  6. Add walnuts, poppy seads & apricots last - when the machine beeps during the fruit & nut cycle

  7. brush with milk just before the bake cycle & sprinkle some extra poppy seeds
