Woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground, a two-hour school delay, and Parliament on the mind.

I don't know this song.

Good morning everyone.  We too have snow.  About 4 inches new yesterday.  And predictions for 1/2 inch ice and 4-6 inches snow.

G'mornin'

I didn't wake up, I'm still up. Still have snow on the ground, just watched a plough go past so I'm assuming (school) buses are running, and Parliament has not yet impinged on my consciousness.

Oh, and nearly all of my water pipes are frozen solid, only the toilet and bathroom sink still work.

I will be caving to the sleep disorder this morning by going to work at 5:00 AM

un-showered

Unwashed. Like the other masses.

For someone with 9000 mp3s, I find this stunning.

 What's a "plough"?

 Ick.  Frozen water pipes suck.

Does it rhyme with "tough" and "rough"?

Hah. As if 9000 songs was even a drop in the bucket of modern music.

But I'd bet that 9000 is a good chunk of the number of RIAA certified million sellers, of which this song is one. :D

Nope, with "bough"

What can I say? I only know so many songs. :)

You know...

it's a good thing, I guess, that Stupidity isn't a Deletable Offense.

Otherwise the Lounge would be pretty damned empty.

:p

My personal filter must be working pretty well.  The threads have been pretty tame as of late, haven't they?

EDIT:  Oh.  That thread.

I've had Rockferry by Duffy stuck in my head for three days. She's like Amy Winehouse but without the profanity or heroin.

Arguable.

There's been fewer real flame wars.

Lots of stupidity.
