I want to cry so bad!
I PROMISED MYSELF NO BINGING TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
And what did I do? It's the day before my birthday, and I've eaten about 5,000 calories in cereal, granola bars, ice cream, and peanut butter sandwiches.

I want to be someone else :(
no. way. it's my birthday tomorrow too! But, seriously, if you want to cry. cry. I had a similar day today. I cried for maybe 40 minutes and am currently putting off studying for a huge chem. test. How much weight are you trying to lose? maybe we could be buddies or something. By the way, isn't October 14th just like, a great birthday date? I love it.
Is it possible to find out for yourself why you needed all that food? Were you starving yourself on a too low allowance or were you nervous, angry, insecure or whatever feeling? It is important to find out what the reason is that you eat so you can work on that to prevent it in the future.
I saw in your profile that you just started here in CC. In that case you've got to be nice to yourself and give yourself time to get used to a new way of eating and a new life style. It is stressful in the beginning, especially if you're used to binging. Changing your lifestyle takes time and effort and a lot of mistakes and starting over again.

Well, it's October 14th now, and I feel bloated :(
I would say "NO MORE BINGING!" but it just gets harder and harder to believe myself because I find I'm constantly on "Day 1".
Well, eat today! It's your birthday! So happy birthday to both of you and just get back on track tomorrow. Binging is hard to deal with and everyone knows that it's never the LAST binge. We're all gonna go eat that last (row) of cookies or the pint of Ben & Jerry's at some point again. But binges don't KILL diets. They can slow down your progress, but if you're making good progress, a bad day or two won't hurt you too bad. When you binge, why do you do it? If you can figure out that reason, try replacing food with something else that makes you happy. Sometimes you can't help it (like I'll be trying to distract myself but I've got that nagging feeling, y'know, in the back of your mind, GOGETCOOKIESGOGETCOOKIES and finally I just go eat the damn cookies) but try for moderation, and when that fails, just work out and get back on. Good luck and happy b-day!!!
feeling like that just makes it worse! Just look ahead and get back on track. Maybe you should walk around the neighborhood for 20 minutes and burn some of those calories. You will feel better. Enjoy your birthday don't be depressed about eating. Just don't give up because there is always tomorrow. By the way, we all binge eat every now and then. I tend to do it when I'm hormonal ![]()
